The new World Warrior is Abel. Described as a man without a past, Abel has gathered what little clues he can as he searches for remaining members of Shadoloo. As his tag line suggests, he has a terrible case of amnesia.

Interesting. I like the design of Crimson Viper, the other new character, but this one is no where near as nice - a tad too generic for my liking.
Aye~ He does look a bit, erm, boring actually. There is no features in this character that really give him any proper personality. On the other side, maybe the goal was to create a character whose life is all about the fighting and nothing more. -Thats all I see in this artwork, anyway.

hes better than Ryu.
But remember that Ryu is THE original within the genre of these types of characters. I dont think completely changing the looks of him now would go very well with the audience.
He looks so boring... doesnt seem to portray any Grappler-like qualities either.
But that might be because Im so used to giants, like Zangief and Maxima ((KOF)).

Who knows? Its definitely a strange visual style theyre going for - Ive noticed several strange facial expressions, oversized crotches and even large muscle mass that isnt well defined but rather just looks like an enlarged body part. >_> Strange.
He doesnt look so tough..
I rather have facial expressions than the characters just closing their eyes when they get hit ala DOA...
Aye. Itll probably look better in-game anyway. Cant really judge too much from images.

More info would probably be made avaliable on Friday, which is when the character is added to the rooster over at the offical Street Fighter 4 website.

The design of the new characters is pretty lame, C.Viper is a pure copy of Cammy (just with a different design) and the rest are just big thugs. I have seen the new characters in action from some videos and it just didn t do it to me. The whole idea of them didn t catch it up but I cant judge it this way as long as I haven t tried them out either played.
The world warriors are there, so everything is set! Just hope the gamplay will do it to me too once I play.

Its not only the World Warriors that are there. The complete Street Fighter II cast is included (Sagat, Balrog, Vega, M. Bison) minus the four added in super (Cammy, Fei Long, Dee jay, T. Hawk), at least those four are not yet comfirmed.
