This is regarding the game Dead Rising,
Does anybody else think Dead rising should be ported to the PS3? i really envi Xbox360 users :cry: :cry: lucky poo poo heads.
Sure, why not, it would make more money for Capcom.
But instead of a port, Id love if they released an updated version that captializes on the size of blu-ray discs; more items, maybe more zombie models so you dont always see the same ones, or hell, Id love full voice acting for survivors etc.
Id rather see Capcom moving on then keep re-releasing games on other consoles. The development time/ money could be put towards another game, Dead Rising 2 prehaps :d
I also think that Capcom wouldnt look for suggestions in the comments to Recent Site Outrage news article Tolga

Like 0.1% chance of it happening. People on the old forum posted topic after topic on this.. They just get locked, the game is exclusive to Xbox 360
I wouldnt be so sure about that, bondey. If theres a market for it, itll be released. The game is made on a PC engine and is easy to port anyway.

I JUST<<<ABOUT 2 WEEKS AGO bought a friggin Xbox 360 Elite JUUUUUUUUUUST so I could play Dead Rising, but oh, IT DOESNT SELL ANYMORE.. AROUND ALL ICELAND. AND I CANT BUY FROM EBAY YET.
this Xbox 360 was such a friggin waste without Dead Rising. but Halo 3 was fine. and Gears of War. still, Xbox sucks anus. it should be ported to the PS3, for love of god...

Dead Risibg is awsome! I would happly buy it for ps3, but ther must be extra content that xbox cant get so we can show microsoft whos boss!

I think your wrong. Look at the monster hunter series an exclusive to Playstation which had no chance of been ported but capcom decided it would make more money if they made it for the wii instead. A perfectly good example of whats going to happen to dead rising except it will be on x-box and playstation.
I seem to remember a thing about microsoft owning the rights to it with full exclusivity as theyd bought a contract from capcom.
Maybe not though, Its been along time.

If yes then get yourself a debit card from your bank, some will even offer them to 14-15 year olds. I own one purely because I dont like carrying money everywhere, and I do alot of e shopping for my camera gear.

Except the thing is Capcom were lazy with Monster Hunter 3 thats why were getting nuthin more than the same game again...Seems like they do that a lot nowadays...So No Port Just SEQUEL....Sick and tired of the same crap movin to other consoles its ridiculous,Theres no competition now cos everyone can get the nu games, They should leave Dead Rising on the X360 and make Resi,Onimusha,Dmc,Mh,Street fighter exclusive to the PS3
Well, I wont say its not going to happen, it is very unlikely though, Id expect a PC version to come before it though.

Its not about competition. Its about profit.
Hence why, releasing a game on multiple platforms opens it up to a larger audience. This means theres more room for profits an a higher revenue. On top of that, Street Fighter 4, RE5 and DMC4 are all most likely going to be or already are multi-platform. Your ideas wont work in the real business world.

Deadrising is a 3rd party game which means Capcom could put it on Ps3 if they wanted. rumours say Microsoft paid for it how true that is i dont know.
Halo 3 is owned by Microsoft making it a First Party game which means it has no chance of going to PS3 unles Microsoft sold the rights. Bungie is no longer under Microosft but Halo still is..
To generate more funds to make new games Multiplatform is the way to at the moment for many 3rd party developers.
Not everyone is able to own or wants all consoles like I do.
