Obviously there are people who can't be part of them. But some people can't do the giveaways. Besides, it's extra stuff for people to get there mitts on. I personally won't be bothering with them(lack of Gold membership), but I still think it's a good idea.
I personally think cutting down on giveaways and introducing draws that we can enter and prizes are allocated to random members who have entered the draw. However, the draw doesn't stay open for long so you have to enter ASAP. That way the day it happens is as random as the giveaways but more fair on those with slow internet speeds.
