Havent played a single game of the series but its interesting to see how theyve changed Laras characteristics.

I tried to play one once, it just seemed so...dull.

Legend was a decent reboot to the franchise and Anniversary was so so. Im glad to see they are kind of aging Lara and making her look a tad older, it makes it a bit more credible.

But yeah, very nice and I cant wait to try a demo or something.

Now, Im looking forward to this since rumour has it, it follows on from Legend, which sees Lara journeying into Avalon to find her lost mother.....theres also talk of Jacqueline Natla returning (hence the release of Anniversary, a refresher if you will). I think it could be something pretty impressive.

Ah i hope that it will carry on from Legend because ive been dying to find out what happens next, not to mention how its all going to play out.

Laras rival, Amanda (who might I add looked ALOT like Jacqueline Natla anyway) did die in Legend, right? I cant quite remember.

But if it does follow on from Legend and does look into Laras journey into Avalon I am excited =P

Is this a new game, or an old game remade?

I thought Tomb Raider Anniversary was going to last Tomb Raider game ever!

Geez, Tomb Raider has been around for a long time, I remember the first on the PSX, actually, I may just buy it to re-live the old days.

same here, man..
I might go find the original Tomb Rider for Playstation as I dont have it anymore.. that might be more enjoyable than these new TR games..

Personally I dont think the older titles have aged particularly well. Lara steers like a drugged cow wearing steel capped boots. At least they fixed that in Anniversary and Legend (to a degree)

No she didnt, at the end Lara kept shooting at her, asking where is her mother, and Amander shouted Avalon, more talk blah blah and then Lara pistol wips her in the face, knocked clean out. So im gathering it it is a continuation of Legend shell be back

I never really like Tomb Raider; Ive always thought the controls were poor and the camera was to busy trying to focus on Laras chest and backside to be any use when jumping.

So I played the first up until the t-rex fight then didnt bother anymore, I skipped the next few, but I picked up Legend recently and I have to admit I kinda liked it, the game played better and the camera didnt seem so Lara focused.

I also think Im the ONLY person who liked Laras personality change. Shes essentially become more manly than her previous incarnations but it does make the character more credible. Im hoping Zip and Alistair return too because their radio chatter was somewhat amusing.

I agree. The Character alteration did alot to make Lara more credible, coupled with the voice of Keeley Hawes it was a masterstroke. Then Alistair and Zip added to the mix provided much light banter to enjoy (an example that made me laugh was where Zip said to Lara that you cant have a waterfall without a few thousand gallons of water to which Lara replied, No, its simply not done!......dont know why it made me laugh...it just did:lol: )

How about when Lara pulls over a statue and Zip complains that it was a nice statue. And Lara goes It was very nice, but it was in the way. Made me laugh a lot. =P

Well the Tomb Raider Legend was very short in length. I completed in about 8+hrs in just three days. Although I was really surprised what the game had to offer & the final level Nepal?? was my favourite the mountain and the music behind it was really good, the bike sequences were also very good. But in my eyes I dont see Tomb Raider Legend as being more Ambitious, The Angel Of Darkness was more ambitious & had a dark but well portrayed story line. Tomb Raider Legend wasnt that bad but it certainly wasnt ambitious.

Tomb Raider Underworld seems to follow the same style as Tomb Raider Legend,Anniversary before it. Lets see how Miss Croft ends up ths time.;)
