Usually they do a "changing track". Someone sends in emotional story related to a song. The song plays, then they read emails and texts from people saying "oh you're so brave", "The same thing happened to me" etc.

This one was a woman who had a baby with her partner, then slipped into depression, started an affair, then walked out on her partner just before the wedding - after he asked her back to work things out for the sake of her daughter.

Queue Sarah Cox with precisely 0 messages of encouragement to read out.
Bottom line? No-one likes a cheater.

Ewww, sugababes.

So, did the track inspire her to dump her husband? Radio 1 has hit a new low. What are they going to have tomorrow... "Oh hai Sarah, my life was rubbish, i had no money, i was in debt, and then I heard the clash 'daddy was a bank robber' on the radio and i decided to pull of a £40m jewel heist in london... changed my life"

I thought that feature was meant to be a positive thing :p

Radio 1 has hit a new low.
As has my local news station.

My local news station had a report about a newborn baby that lived with another 4 generations. So they lived with their parents, their grand parents, their great grandma and their great great grandad(or something along those lines). At first it seemed amazing that they all lived so long. But then it turns out the kids dad was 19, his grandma was in her late 30s and the rest of the relatives had kids rather young. Also the kid has an uncle that's 5...
