Okay so i just updated my 360 and got access to all the new pay for avatar content and imho its brilliant. I know a lot of people dont like paying for digital content especially things like clothes or costumes for virtual characters but i personally think its awesome, i dont see anything wrong with it and am happy to pay a quid or two for a t shirt or some shoes for my little virtual incarnation.

So what i would like to know is how many of you, like me, would explode with glee at the addition of capcom themed clothes for your 360 av, i personally can't think of anything cooler than a no arm street fighter style gi for my avatar!

also i've noticed the avs do funny stuff once you preview an accessory, i dont know whether its possible or even already in place but how cool would it be to be able to buy little "taunts" for your avs? Im bored of virtual jack waving at me when i press the right analog, i want to see him do a hurricane kick instead!

I've said yes, but not for money.

HOWEVER.

If the clothing were to be offered in large packs...then I might consider paying for them.

They could do a Resident Evil pack, where you get costumes from every character from the entire series, to mix and match. I'd pay for that.

But if I had to pay for inidivudla characters, or individual pieces of clothing...I'd see it as a waste.

I voted the first one... just because there's no option about free content...
I hope that videogames will give clothes.

The price is too high, Spike bought a fake skateboard for... I don't remember, the lowest price is 40MP...

Now you mention it spike i remember seeing something like that too, looking foward to any info you manage to dig up.

Im actually completely the opposite tzm, i really hated having to buy the sf4 costumes in packs, cos i ended up spending 320 points on a 5 costume pack when i only wanted one or two of them,i'd of much prefered paying 80 points for an individual costume even though that works out more if i decided to by the others at a later date. I guess the happy medium would be to offer stuff both seperately and as bundles with a slight discount compared to buying seperately.

I wouldn't pay for avatar clothes but I'd like to see Capcom implement the prize outfits for doing good in games

actually, I might pay for a full Megaman outfit....or a long sword from Monster Hunter

Aren't Home users getting Resident Evil stuff soon-ish?
The RE5 Studio Lot has a store coming soon, and I heard that there's going to Wesker's sunglasses...

I'd like to see Resi stuff the most, but Dead Rising, Megaman, Street Fighter, Lost Planet and DMC stuff would be cool to see too.

what if Capcom make an exclusive tshirt for Capcom Europe community?
i mean, it could be just a plain white (or whatever colour) with "Capcom Europe" on it
that wouldn't be available for everyone, but only for the community (who has an account here get the code to download it)
or even better, we could make a competition: the best CE themed tshirt designed by an user will be the official CE virtual tee
in this way, this community could be known more and in future we could organize some CE clans or something similar in online games

Hmm I agree with TZM. If the clothing comes in packs, I might concider. However, as the girl I am, I like to change my avatar's outfits every time I log on. So buying a shirt for her would be useless, as I would change it the next day, lol!

I would love some Okami pack though. Imagine your avatar dressed up like Issun? YES. Or Darkstalkers! I might pay money for a Morrigan of Felicia outfit, tbh.

This is the problem I had when I was looking at those costume packs. Same with picture packs, I only ever want it for one picture and I'm having to spend 100MS on that one picture.

However, I DO like the sound of Resident Evil packs. Dress up as Ada one day and Jill the next. Or even Ada with Jill's beret, hehe. That'd be real cute. I love mix and match. ^^

The difference with picture and theme pack and avatar's, is that you can't have a preview. You can't give it back, you can't try them.

This was brought up over at the Unity Forums too, Sven said they have some stuff ready for the Avatars but didn't meet the dead line for the main release so they are still in the processing stages
