Almost everyone i know thinks i am insane, but they think its cool.
My (ex) girlfriend thought it was geeky, but actually bought me most of the smaller things (wallets, clock, etc).
Can I really not interest anyone in a RE4 GameCube chainsaw controller? Go on.

I hate geeky collectors abbreviations. Luckily I worked it out by the time the post a message box loaded.
Scared youll catch something? Of course its been removed from box. Its been kept in the box though. Its not the type of package that looks tampered with when you remove the controller from the box. Besides, its not like you wouldnt wanna remove it to at least hold it.
I could lie to you and tell you that it has never been removed from its packaging...but what difference does it actually make? Would you like me to disinfect it or something?
...or you could pay œ100 for a sun damaged one off amazon.

My PS2 chainsaw controller has never been removed from the box. I have no need to remove it. I am a collector, and i have OCD...i like to keep certain things in good condition.

I have no patience for people with OCD. Even my own OCDs I have no time for.
Its not like its been scuffed, marked, damaged or even disturbed. Its got that new chainsaw smell.
Thats so sad. To live in such a sterile environment. You only live once. Whats the point in not touching things? You of all people should realize the fragility of reality.
Or do you plan to be buried with your treasures like a geeky Tutankhamun? (yes, I did spell that correct first time, no need for retyping it).

Im not a sterile OCD sort of person...i just like things to remain in good condition. Especially when it comes to things i collect.
Im all for that whole living thing...getting out of the house, eating dirt and all that (it tastes quite nice with a bit of cheese), but i just like things to be in good condition.
And my collection will be left to a trusted friend when i die, rather than being buried with me :D

You can get some of the things from Gamestation, but the rest is all from eBay, Play and Amazon.
The thing is youre not requesting good condition. You care about an inch of sticky tape that prevented you from flipping open the top of the box to get to the bloody goodness inside....
Thats not concern for good condition. Thats anal retentiveness for perfection.

Yeah, that sounds about right. But yeah, my PS2 controller is in its box, but the box is also in the plastic packaging that it gets delivered to the shops in. Thats how i want my GC version when i get it...rather than just a box. So technically, more than just sticky tape.
But as sad, geeky and obsessive as this all is, it keeps me happy and stops me from going insane.

Its only a few things from my collection. I use the games, i read the books, i watch the films. I just dont really feel the need to use a clunky chainsaw controller to play the games when i have a perfectly fine normal shaped controller to use.
I agree it can be considered a waste of money, and probably a waste of time...but some things i feel will have a better value (sentimental, not money) when left in mint condition.
Aside from my figures (which remain packaged due to space requirements and not wanting to lose the small parts), i think the chainsaw controller i have is one of maybe 3 items in my collection that i have never used...Clock, controller and...ah, yes, the baseball cap...
Does anyone know any good store in finland that sells resident evil merchandise??

those were not remakes.. just Playstation 1 ports. I wish they worked hard and did all of them remade. they DID remake 0 because it was originally for N64..
anyway, A RE2 and 3 REMAKE would have been better at the year 2002-2003 for capcom instead of doing a RE0 and RE remake.. because those games are just really bad.
