Demo Reccommendations?

So, I'm taking my PS3 online today to give it an update and to look for some new demo's to have a play around with.

I'm currently downloading the Arkham Asylum Demo, because it looks awesome, but I don't know what else to try.

Does anybody here have any reccommendations for me?


Also, this thread can be used in the future for other reccommendations, be it on PC, PSP, DS, 360 or PS3.

I really enjoyed the demo of Arkham Asylum, looks to be a brilliant game.

It's been out a little while, but if you haven't got it already, there's a demo out for X-Men Origins: Wolverine. For a movie tie-in, it's a good game and it has alot of gore, the combat is great fun too. I just downloaded it yesterday, loved it.

I can reccommend 2 Demo's to download:

Red Faction: Guerilla - I don't know what the full game is like, but the demo is a blast. I played it repeatedly, but only recently deleted it. It gives you a good glimpse into what the game as a whole will be like, but doesn't drag you down with too much vacuous storyline, etc.

InFamous - The demo was actually more interesting than the full game IMO. Though I'd have to play more of the game to make sure, the Demo actually shoves you straight into it all...giving you most of the powers, and it lets you play for a fairly long period of time.


I'll let you all know what I think about the Arkham asylum Demo when I'm done with it ^_^

Well, there's the MHFU demo on the PSP.
But Ikaruga on the 360 is <3 <3 <3! I missed the opportunity to buy it because I don't have a damn credit card. Got the demo tho.

battlefield 1943. ......or 1942, i can't remember. but anyway it is really good and surprisingly it was really fast to download aswell. then if you want to get the full game you pay 10 pounds and buy the full game upgrade (or something like that) and it will make it into a full game within 15 seconds. it was rated good also.

So, I downloaded Arkham Asylum and X-Men origins: Wolverine, and here's my thoughts:

Batman: Arkham Asylum - This demo is an awesome teaser for the full game. It shows you the combat, it shows you the Detective Mode, and it lets you do a bit of the swinging around and tracking enemies.

You even get to unlock character profiles, find some unlockables, and see some of the major villains.

It was actually better than I expected, as I didn't think you'd get the chance to interact with surviving guards, which was really cool.

I can't wait till this game comes out.


X-Men Origins: Wolverine - This was a bit of a shocker. I've heard all the good news, and I've been anticipating it...but there was the niggling little doubt in my mind that the game would be really really bad.

Ok, so there isn't much to the demo...and probably the full game...but it looks great, and plays great.

I'm confused as to what the storyline will be, but that doesn't bother me too much.

This is, once again, another game I'll be getting as soon as I have the money.
