View Full Version : DMC 4 Xbox 360 demo - weird controller behavior
Im having a strange issue with running forward...no matter how hard i push up the LS stick, Nero will just walk. I can run in all other directions though. Whats really weird is that im not experiencing this problem in other games, only in Devil May Cry 4...well, and Dead Rising demo, occasionally. I googled every term possible with no luck, no one seems to be suffering from the same problem. Now i fear buying the full game for obvious reasons...help please?
Its a demo. Something propably went bad while downloading it, and the files became a mess. If you want, try deleting it and the downloading again
Hm, hardly likely but its worth a shot, thanks
your controllers bust.....try another one.

I initially had this problem with the 360 controller too, and only just realised this topic was here! Anyhoo, I recommend removing the Power Pak, and replacing it. That worked for me, at least.
As expected, downloading the demo again didnt do anything good. Im not using any Power Pak...but i tried removing batteries and putting them back in with no results. Also, im not so sure that my controller is the real reason behind the issue... i can run in other games but not in DMC4? Im afraid theres something more complicated going on...thanks anyway :(

Maybe ure not a true dmc belive!!! lol jk I had same prob but re downloading demo several times made it stop..... Gradually
Download *several* times the demo? And with Xbox Live crappy download speeds these days? No thanks :s
I sent a letter to Capcom but they have no idea of what the reason behind my problem could possibly be:|
Problem solved after buying a new wired controller. The old wireless one simply has a strange incompatibility issue with DMC 4 and Dead Rising...go figure. :?:
