Resident Evil 2, in my opinion, best Resident Evil ever! Four different endings (two on both characters, thanks to the great LeonA-ClaireB-ClaireA-LeonB Idea), interesting characters, good story and theres no complaining about the graphics. Its an old game, you know.

This game really stands the test of time... It came out 10 years ago but will remain a classic forever. I know that RE4 made a set of new changes, but the RE of old will never be bettered..
yep.. THE best Resident Evil of all time.
this is not the best game Ive ever played, but its the best story game Ive ever played.
but so many people ignore this game after RE4 was made.. like RE4 is the only Resident Evil out there. I ignore the old Alone in the Dark games like The New Nightmare and the new game are the only ones hehe.. but its just ILLEGAL doing that to Resident Evil.

i played RE2 hundred times and it never bored me
beautiful game, incredible atmosphere, awesome characters
I found remake more entertaining then I did re2.
Re2 had a good story line, and characters, and was a good game, but remake was better.
It passes the test of time, but a remake on wii or ps3 would be fantastic! When I saw the gamecube remake of the first RE I was thinking of an RE2 remake too, now ten years after and several REs I have to say that RE2 is the best by far!The music, the feelings, the separate histories, all the mosters... a truly classic...

o_o Oooook, you must have the RE2 gamecube version. (because it doesnt look as classic)
I grew up playing the N64 version of RE2 and it kicks so much ass, man.
it wasnt until now I figured RE2 on N64 has some slow-downs.. the PS1 version is good.. but I prefer the N64 version because it lasts longer.. almost all of my PS1 CDs are all scratched and stuff..

imo Remake is much better. The graphics, music, enemies, original resi story, longer single story (one run through), locations and all of everyones favourite characters (although resi 2 has Ada and Claire). Also, the classic game made better. Although, people will still argue because its only my opinion (and some others). People must have better memories connected with resi 2 than they did with Remake.
RE2 was good, but I still consider RE/REmake the best. RE2 started the series down the action path resulting in RE4.
Still the best - without a doubt.
By the way, I never played with Tofu.

I managed to complete the mini game with Tofu only once. Hard as Hell likes. HUNKs game is actually quite simplistic if you know the way to run past the zombies, spiders, etc. You dont even have to do much shooting until youve reached the hall with the faulty switch.

The best RE ever, bar none. It was the first I played and I had never played anything like it before. I spent hours getting all the bonuses....it was worth it.

Im gonna have to agree. RE2, CVX and RE/REmake is the series climax. Zero was also decent. So was 3. Damn this series has loads of good titles.
