SF4 PC sound problem

hello,

i've just installed win7 and sf4 to try if it works. First i got a problem that sf4 didn't find a dx9 file (?), but after i could start the game i have a audio problem that with the same pc i hadn't on winxp.

The audio seems normal, but sometimes it do a little jump, it seems to speed up for less than a second and in that instat also there is a little frame drop.

sound device is a xfi titanium.

All the drivers are the latest whql for win7.

Any help?

As Windows 7 isn't officially release yet it is hard to say what is the problem really. If it's reporting that a DirectX 9 file is missing, that would be the first port of call. Install DirectX 9.0c as Windows 7 comes with DirectX 11 and doesn't have a lot of the DirectX 9 files that the game needs.
