With the new forum being here and all, I feel sort of entitled to make the typical favorite series/game topic. So tell us what series you enjoyed the most in general, along with what game either in- or outside of the series has made it as your all-time favorite!
Favorite series: Mega Man Zero
Ill admit it, I love Zero like an FF fanboy loves Cloud. So having a series revolving around him was already a dream come true, but when seeing the development of the story and how it really did feel as if I was continuing a legend I experienced when playing the X games, made me yearn for more. And killing foes while basically dashing through them was pretty damn awesome.
Favorite game: Mega Man 3
If I had to be all technical, Id say Zero 3 was my most favorite game of all time. But having played Mega Man 3 for pretty much half my life and knowing the game by heart, I really do have the fondest memories with this title.
Hard to say... I would probably pick
Megaman & Bass
as Bass plays very different to Megaman himself, and the design is very well done, and its very hard to complete, it is a great challenge.
Megaman X8
This is my favourite X game as for pacing, soundscape, leveldesign and achievements. You will spend days and days of playing until you get everything including the 3 special characters. You can adapt difficulties, which is good as every difficulty will enhance the story which is well presented.
Graphics are nicely done, nothing ultimately memorizable, but they are nice to look at and fit the theme. My only gripe would be the two chaser missions which are slightly hard to handle and dont fit to the rest of the game in my opinion. Music is lovable if you like free e-guitar play with very clean solos. There are a lot of tunes you will reckognize and probably humm on for days.
This game is slightly superior to X2 which has some very nice leveldesigns and soundwork, too, not to mention the very first Zero fight.
I havent played many Megaman games..
but Im getting to know them.. my favorite games at the moment are Megaman 2 and Megaman X
Battle & Chase and after that X 8 and Command Mission

I had Mega Man 2 on my NES. Great game. Took me a while to complete Dr. Wilys level as it had 5 mini stages and I kept dying all the time.
I liked the idea of destroying the other robots and upgrading your arsenal. But you had to try and do it in some sort of order, or it was harder to pull off. :p
My favorite game series has to be with out doubt is the onimusha last being dawn of dreams. will there be any more and is ther a film in the making b)
Loved Mega Man 2 played that loads.
Could anyone beat Sandman in Mega Man 1 NES in Dr Willy Stage.
I dont have it anymore but remember i always got to him and could never hurt him.
The gamesmaster lied when he said you use the electric power and shoot him in the eye the bugger would never die!!!!
The memories of frustration and NES pads being launchd around my room :lol:

My Favorite Seires would be Mega Man X and Favorite game Would Be Mega Man 7.
My favorites, and the ones that got me into the series would be the battle network series, number 2 more specifically.
Mega Man X on the Super Nintendo wins it for me. I love that game.

If I recall that correctly you could hurt that sandguy only with the standard buster. It took long, but was not too hard.
