Please post any problems you come across right here. Im sure it will help the administrators if all problems are collected in one place.
Also, since some basic features are missing I think itd be neat if we could suggest some features (reasonable!) or orginisation tips. Note, Im no admin so I have no control over it but itd give them an idea on what the community wants out of the forum. So do make suggestions but bare in mind they may not happen due to various reasons.
To start off, is it possible to sort the games section alphabetically?

1) Please do not post more than once. Youre of course free to edit your original post. Im sure this topic will be checked on continuously and itll make the whole process much more efficient.
2) If Ryu doesnt mind itd be possible to edit his OP and add a list consisting of the problems/suggestions you post.

The biggest gripe so far is the language selector that pops up when you visit the forum start page. Ive found its so erratic that sometimes it causes the browser to illegally operate, thus shut down and you end up losing other tabbed browser sessions you might be running at the same time. Is there another way round this function, like a drop-down menu at the head of the page instead?
EDIT (1): There isnt a pop-up when youre logged in to notify you of new private messages, nor any other indication, but there isnt an option for pop-ups in user settings. Alongside this is the ability to hide your online status. That options not there either.

Ive only had that menu come up about 3 times, each time when I view the forum from a differenct address.
At the moment, it seems Im using Capcom-Europe.com, but earlier this morning I was using Community.Capcom-Europe.com
Will there ever be one, set, uniform address?
So far, Ive encountered two problems:
- Ive had the entire site randomly going down for me. Id get a message telling me to go back to the home page, only to get the same error when actually trying to go there. This happened 3 times so far.
- The site logging me out of the forum somehow, while I was still logged into the site. Pressing the Logout option at the top didnt work untill I actually went to the home page. Logging in after that fixed it and it only happened once, but itd be really annoying if it ends up happening more often.
For a feature is it possible to get another
Capcom>>> General >>> General at the bottom of the page so you dont have to scroll up everytime?

- Higher level of contrast between writing and background
- Other typeface(s)
- Greater default size of writing
I really had an big issue trying to find the Register button. :d Usually its on small print in some corner, but here its in the top on the right corner with HUGE print. :d

ok 777, this ones partially your fault.
But also an error with the forum.
In the lostplanet ps3 thread, you posted a large picture towards the end, (atm) and its screwed up the thread page, so that menus are here and there, and writing is going off of the side of the page.
Id suggest either putting a limit on picture sizes, or setting something up, so that you can scroll sideways within a single post, so if a picture is too big, it only effects that post.

Followed by loads of scripting and code from the site.....also, Im getting bugs where the site remembers my login details and keeps me logged in- but the forum treats me like a guest account- logging out, then back in works fine, but it is a hassle.
theres like... a remember me login error for me, when I make it remember me, the buttons to post messages disappear o_o so I always have to login all the time. I hope this will be fixed..

The colour scheme is a little garish and the text is too small on my resolution. Would it be possible to have a more optimised scheme available for people to choose? Thanks.

Gairsh? Blue is the colour of all things Capcom: Megaman, Neros Jacket and ofc Jill Valentines tank top ;)
Lets put it this way, it hurts my eyes, and Capcom US doesnt. And thats about a blue as it gets with my scheme.

Can we please get a method of thumb nailing picture attachements, they stretch the forum posts into oblivion, and beyond!
It wont let me log out... Every time I try to, it says Access Denied; I tried to access a part of the site I dont have permisison for. :P But if I go away long enough, it seems to time out and dump me anyway.
There isnt enough contrast on the message composition screen. I have to squint to see what Im writing... Pale bluish-grey on a white background is what Im getting.
EDIT: Actually, I think its just because Im using Safari on a Mac at work... Its working OK in IE on my IBM at home.
Hello i made a new acount because i could not logg on too the forums whith my old username FALKENBERG it would be very cool if that prob could be fixed some how Dear CHOMPMAN bring back the FALK!!
I have a small suggestion to make, if it hasnt been made already.
When viewing a topic as a Guest, then choosing to log in (using the login boxes at the top), I think that after logging in the Forum should return you to the topic you were viewing instead of which it returns you to the main Forum view, then you have to find the topic again.
Its a small annoyance.

hey Ryu Kazama i cant even get into my profile and even view other profiles, also when im going through capcom i keep having to sign back in again its really stressing.
so i hope capcom will fix it soon.
CAPCOMS having a period (OH MY GOD) i hope capcom gets better, otherwise we are fooooooooooooooooooooooooked!!!! :lol:
im very discontent with capcoms site referring to the profile are. every time i try to get in, it kicks me out saying its not possible. and sometimes i try to log out it says access denied...? why am i having a hard time with that???

Also, the Active Topics feature is not working properly. After sending a PM one is directed to their own profile. It is also not possible to write a PM from a users profile.

Theres only an Inbox, no Outbox or Sentbox.

Profile: It says 300 posts (and points) while I have made just 269 according to the data provided under my avatar.

My profile display is weird too. It shows the number of posts in the Member since line, and the Comments in the Forum Posts line.
First I thought I had 0 posts, maybe that s what you noticed too Zmessia?

Try going back to HOME before logging out. Then it should work.

If i logon too capcom i logon too the home page i can see in all topics that are posted why can i see if Admin and Mods are posting in topics only acsessable for mods and Admins it contains info thats not ment too be for members right? so why are we too see that you comunicate in my opinion its anoying if you want too keep things for your self than try too keep them for yourself and dont let it be shown on front page thats my opinion by the fact i can see your topics i can half see whats cooking Example---->James did you delete this topic

The new posts aren t marked.
Only white symbols at the left even though there are posts I haven t read yet.
Did somebody replace the topic_new.gifs?

No, just searched the source code.
The problem must be that the new posts are already marked as read for some reason.
Every forum -those with the new posts too- has the topic.gif on them.

This is really weird. My own post (this one) was marked unread just now.

It always takes ages and seems to appear always just when I try to log in. Then I have to type everything again...
By the way the problem above is still there.
Seems like everytime I log in all threads are being marked read.

The longer I stay the more problems reveal...
The PM thing is SO annoying. There s only a Inbox, so you probably forgot what you wrote when somebody replies, because it takes quite long to to notice that you have a PM.
And just how embarassing are the options (top right, in the line that states the topic)?
The options appear totally out of place (at the top left!) and you can hardly read what s in there, because both the background and the letters are white.
Is somebody even trying to fix some of the bugs that are listed here?

These problems have been around for over 17 weeks now. I seriously doubt they will be solved any time soon, however easy that may be in particular cases.
few hours ago i was here reading topics then i noticed that on the top of the page it said welcome back, Miko (my name) and on the bottom it said users browsing this topic:quest and i couldnt post anything so i tried to log out and log back in but when i tried to log out it just said you tried to enter an area you dont have access
eum chomp maybe to tell you this at a very early state but the website and forum doesnt work in IE 8 at least not in beta 1... . when I press the emulate IE7 button then it works.
maybe than you can fix the bugs in the website now and than optimizing it to internet explorer 8.
As a lot of people cant get sigs it would be nice to be able to enter gamertags and ID option in the profile.

It wont let you post on the forum with the wii because you always get redirected, when you try to read posts from this forum on your psp every second post is missing. I had to make a second account because I forgot my password and yes to anyone who thinks they are smart I did go to Forgot password page. I typed my e-mail address many times into that white box and clicked the send button but my efforts were in vain. When I checked my e-mail Capcom had not sent me a new password. The other forum was miles ahead of this forum and was compatible with the psp. This forum has too many bugs.

Im not sure if this has posted, since i need to be quick, when i come to these forums...
I get Logged out if im here for more than 5-10mins. It still shows, that Welcome back thing on the top. But when i try to post it gives me this white site, with some errors on it! If this happens and i try to log out to log in again, i must go to the home page, to log out, othervise it says You tried to enter a area where you didnt have access.

Your feedback is appreciated. Please note that the moderators, as far as I can tell, have done what they could to help solve these problems which primarily is to ask for support repeatedly. However as you probably noticed little to nothing has changed. Im sorry about that and afraid that things wont improve anytime soon. Thanks for your help.
Actually were trying some things behind the scenes, and on Monday a fix should be implemented for the login problem. Sorry this is taking a while, and thanks for being patient.

Please have a look at the new Forum Support ... forum. Its a forum that supports the forum, perhaps even the Support Forum itself.

As far as I was able to tell it allows you to take your complaints there, much as you could do here, with one major difference: You get to post an entire topic per problem and youll get specific feedback. Well thats two differences. Good times. Still didnt drink enough water, in case your wondering.
I think its a good idea to leave this topic locked and stickied so people can look up a couple of problems, check on them and maybe copy and paste them to the Forum Support forum (I suggest FSF - not to be mixed up with FFS).

Weve read through these threads and discussed most of the issues within them these last two weeks. Weve looked into a few issues already, fixed others, with more fixes in the pipeline. A list of these can be found within Forum Support here - http://www.capcom-europe.com/forums.aspx?g=posts&t=772
Ill leave this thread stickied for a few more days to enable you guys to cross reference and post important items in Forum Support that feel need addressing, and please do this, however big or small you feel the issue is, and well investigate the feasibility.
