What is your all time favourite weapon in the Resident Evil series?
It can be from any of the games?
For me its the colt python for its look its power and the feeling you got when you finally get your hands on it, its like you no longer have to worry about hunters as much.

The Gold Lugers. Sure, they were wielded by the worst character in the franchise, but they were damn cool. Retro and stylish!:lol:
The machine gun in re4 was a bit of fun.
I like the shotgun in the original though.
Just for the head splatter.
I think my favourite weapon is that machine gun from Code Veronica X. The one you get in the cabin at the beginning of the game. The MP100? I dunno.
How much damage it dealt, while being incredibly quick and including two weapons. My favourite weapon :) .

I actually forgot about RE4 - freudian slip it seems :p
Anyway, the Bowgun from Resident Evil 4 was a pretty awesome weapon. It was very much exclusive to Adas scenario, Separate Ways, but I loved using it. Same with Adas old school style shotgun. The noise it made on the Wiimote though was somewhat irritating, but you get that. =P

Shotgun - *klick klack* and BAM! In Remake it is funny to blow the Zombies the legs off. :d
C. Magnum from RE2. Oddly not too noisy but damn that had a kick on it. So strong you felt almost bad that its potential is being wasted on these creatures.
My favourite weapon is Adas sunglasses because they look cool and they go asplode. b)
My favourate weapon is the machine gun you find in one of the lockers in RE2. The one where you have the option of taking it or leaving it for the other person, depending on who you are playing as.
To tell the truth all of the weapons were great but if I had to chose one it would be the customized magnum from RE2 or the shotgun from RE CV.
The Grenade Launcher, RE2 onwards, not the Bazooka from the first game.
Reason for this is, in the first game, the Bazooka (which was basically a Grenade Launcher) could only hold 6 rounds, which meant that if you had anymore than 6, you had to use up space in your inventory.
With the Grenade Launcher in RE2 and every other game, unlimited rounds of the same type could be held within the Grenade Launcher itself, meaning an inventory space was free for something else.
My favourite WEAPON is the self-defense dagger from Resident Evil (GC). My favourite gun is probably the Eagle 6.0 from Resident Evil 3. Barrys .44 magnum is also quite cool.

Definately my favourite- its a Desert Eagle, so it looks awesome, sounds awesome, gives a huge BANG! and blows things clean to bits.....I love it- its a sniper rifle in Handgun form!! :p
I love all the shotguns and magnums, mmmm the blacktail from RE4.

I consider the Shotgun to be the best and most reliable of the more basic guns. The handgun is good for solo zombies, but when it comes to groups, you need to be ready.
stun gun on a hunter is always amusing.
Shotgun, Colt python and Barry quotes. Gotta love them all.
Shotgun: For hunters and big groups.
Colt Python: For the boss batles.
Barry quotes: What? Barry is THE King.
Shotgun is my favourite weapon.
I wish though they could bring back the old flamethrower imagine how good that would have been against the groups of Ganados in RE4 or and against the enemies in RE5 aswell.
Though I dont like fast shooting weapons that much as I think those make the game to easy I would not mind to have the chaingun from RE2(i think it was maybe it was RE3?) as an extra unlockable weapon.
Stun Rod and Iron Pipe were my favorite weapons from Resident Evil Outbreak file#2.. Jim could do combos with them witch were awesome.. and they are both melee weapons!
and then its Magnum from Resident Evil 2.
since you are the master of unlocking....
Id say the pythons a better match for the hunter then the shotgun.
Why?
I dont like to let them get close enough to me for a shotgun to be effective.
The problem with me mainly is that I like a challenge.
I always like the first game and remake how one does not get all the ammo in the world and had to conserve and magnum one got pretty late with a minimum of ammo the same goes for the rocket launcher(until unlocked).
Thats why I prefer the shotgun myself the best weapon one can get without making the games to easy plus it comes with pretty much firepower for being one of the earliest weapons one usally gets in RE series.
I have unlocked every weapons that is unlockable in each games like for example infinite handcannon in RE4 but I think its to boring using that gun so I still stick with old remington or custom shotgun for a bit of challenge plus its fun to use :D

Fav is probably the chain gun. Heaps of fun mowing down clusters of those bastards :D

Ill always love the white Magnum 50 AC/AE from Outbreak File 2...
Along with Kevins pot-shot ability, it just owned, like bread and butter.

My Fave Weapon Is The S.T.A.R.S Samurai Edge 2 (Modded Beretta 92FS)
I Love that gun Especially on RE:UC with Rebbecca, Chris, Jill, Wesker e.t.c
Probably not my favourite, but I did like the Stryker from Resi 4.
The game came out the same day as Constantine hit cinemas in the UK. My friends named that gun after the character Papa Midnight - thinking it looks like something hell carry around.

i think the best weapon is in Resident evil 4 in this laser weapon when one game on the hard through difficult and this has played a bazooka million.
Shotgun is my favorite weapon in all RE and non RE games, it gives me an indescribable feeling, plus its highly effective close ranged.
