Polls are meh.
Shadow of Rome is a pretty awesome game. It runs on the same engine as Onimusha 4, so thats the basic way youll be playing. Interspersed between the awesome action sequences are somewhat dull and monotonous stealth sections. If you can handle the quick changes of pace, then I have no hesitation in recommending it.
Furthermore, this game is EXTREMELY gorey. Theres ALOT of blood, decapitations and all around pain to go around in Shadow of Rome, and its all pretty humourous too, to throw a club at someones shoulder and see it take off their whole arm.
Its definitely not for the light hearted.
Id give it a 7/10 all up.

Woah, I gotta get this.
The stealth sequences can be a bit annoying, but the violence is ridiculously over the top and great fun. And on the plus side, the stealth sequences get you in the mood to do some serious violence to work off the frustration!
be warned though, this game is 18 for a reason, and that reason is extremely gory violence. Its not for little kids.
(and if the Daily Mail are reading, its not designed for little kids, its not marketed for little kids, its not distributed to little kids)

That is all

Onimusha wasnt as violent, there wasnt as much blood sprays or decapitations in Onimusha. Furthermore, you cant use decapitated limbs to beat your opponents, while in Rome, you can. :d

this game, looks SO awesome
I liked the stealth scenes..<_<
Maybe because theres some part of my honor that felt bruised when I got beaten to a bloody pulp by dwarfs in a freezing arena.
Shadow of rome was definitely not a bad game, with a good story, although at times extremely predictable.
And its always a good laugh when the audience suddenly throws gigantic swords into the ring to award you for great scoring.
The historic parts are a great way to convince your History teacher that games can be bloody AND educational!
Fun times to be had by all. ^_^

Have you played far into it? If so, what do you think of it so far?
Does Sextus remind you of Luis Sera from RE4? It was one of the comparisons I made early on =P

Im only one like level 3. Its where your Octavanius and you have to get into the Senate house, well Im already in the Senate house but I have to get into the evidence room somehow, well at least I think I do, but I dont know how to get in :P
But I think ive just realised a way so I must go and give it a shot
Its a great game, and now you can buy it real cheap. Its a mix of investigation and beat em up. I think this game is a typical capcom lovers game.

I heard that too. Apparently, it was more than 60 people, and a total of 23 stabbings! Intense. One of them was, the infamous, Brutus.
