Then allow me to start things off, shall I? Since were talking about possibly upcoming titles...
- Third ZX title: If Capcom Japan sold enough copies of ZX Advent as they wanted (100,000 units), theres the possibility of a third title being announced at the next Capcom Press Day, due sometime in the next few months.
- Megaman Star Force 2: There isnt an official date for the English-speaking versions of the game, nor an official name.
- Wii title: Apparently, theres a Wii title fitting in somewhere. This could be a number of things, from Megaman Scramble Battle, to Megaman Legends 3 or even a Megaman Wii title.
Well, I think we can pretty much assume well get Star Force 2, it selling better than ZX and the US even having the Anime about the whole series. I hope so, at least. It having Wi-Fi battles and the many combined transformations makes it the perfect game to play online for me.
My guess is well end up with Scramble Battle out of the 3 possible Wii titles. With Scrambling be a radio thing and all, I wouldnt be surprised with it being a Star Force game. And with the game being rumored to be an Action-RPG and Star Force being the most popular Mega Man franchise at the moment, its probably the best thing for Capcom to do in the first place.
I personally cant wait for a possible ZX3. With ZXAs open ending, itd be harsh to cut off the series so soon. Dont turn this into a second Legends, Capcom!

If I was able to make a sequel without having to worry about money in any shape or form, I think it probably would be Mega Man Legends 3. And thats not just me -- a lot of the original team members would also love to make a sequel. They talk about it. I talk about it sometimes. I know they love that series and so do I. If I were to say right now, I have a tiny, tiny, tiny dream that I wish I could realize, but I dont know if its possible, it would be to do a sequel in the Legends series. The framework that we used for our next-gen titles, creating it was not easy -- it took talented individuals. One was the main programmer on Mega Man Legends. He said, while creating it, he was envisioning how Lost Planet would fit in it, and how Dead Rising would fit, and on top of that, now any time you want to make a Mega Man Legends game with this framework, its ready. All I need is the go and we can slap Mega Man in there.

i cant understand the fascination with the megaman games. i remember playin a megaman game long ago on the ps, cant remember which one, and i quite liked it but it wasnt revolutionary and now, its exactly the same thing but with better grahics. they r all the same and lack any true originality what-so-ever. so why r they loved so much???
Because Mega Man is a fairly timeless concept and appeals to a universal demographic. Mega Man is a series that has evolved much to keep up with the time, and as such itll probably keep living on for many, many years. I think perhaps a Mega Man Legends 3 couldve been a fresh reminder on why we keep play Mega Man games, just in the same fashion as people keep playing Sonic and Mario games.
Capcom also have a strong Japanese fanbase around Mega Man, and theres a new generation of fans playing the Battle Network and Starforce games, which contributes a lot to the overall series. Mega Man is still one of Capcom biggest franchises with over 27,500,000 copies sold worldwide!
Jihaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!! raaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!! I want Legends 3! and X 9 and 9 and a new multiplayer game Megaman on all the three consoles wii 360 and 3!

Dear god i would die from happiness if they released megaman legends 3 on Next gen consoles, Imagine how much extra content they could fit into the game compared to legends2...... and as long as they keep the build your own weapon mechanics im happy
I want MM9 or a game with Protoman as the main character. I also want more remakes like Megaman Powered Up and Maverick Hunter X, on PSP or Xbox Live Arcade.

I d advise you not to talk about stuff you don t know about.
furious for example play Megaman 3, Megaman X, Megaman Legends 1 and 2, Megaman Battle Network 1, Megaman Star Force and Megaman X 8 and Megaman Battle & Chase and Megaman X 4 and the Zero Games! :devil: :devil: :) :) these are the games that have the most positive critics on the net.
My favorites lies in line with that but the Zero Games is my worst ounistly because they were as hard as hell but on the net these are good games! even ZX is more something to me. Zero in X 4 and X 5 and X 6 is more the Zero I want to play with.
and trust me I am a adult with brains 25 years old kid! :devil: :devil: :) :)
do you know why Megaman beats Resident Evil Devil May Cry Street Fighter Killer7 Okami Dino Crisis just all the other Capcom Games? Because Megaman is my world. the feeling that I have when playing all the time Megaman you cant compare to Resident Evil even not to Chainsaw Salvador Maniac! not even the zombie dog that jumps out of the window. Dante Vergil Nero? unbelievable good characters but they may not even close the shoes of Megaman.

Brons is for Street Fighter
Dino Crisis
and than the none series Modellista Auto Killer7 and all the others.

eum maybe this sounds stupid bit wouldnt it not be wise to do Megaman X9 possible in 16 bit SNES style? like Megaman 9 did for 8 bit style? or if it is to much money for capcom doing legends 3 with the MT framework engine, just doing that game in 32 bit PSX style like it was for the original series in the beginning a first game came out for each series?
Yeah, a lot of people are hoping theyll pull that off. And I think that some officials did state theyd look into that if Mega Man 9s sales were promising.

and I really hope Sigma is the end boss and maybe Dynamo will return because we never knew what happened to him after X 6
and Mister Inafune maybe a hint: make it solo duo online and splitscreen like re 5 because in the most games now at the moment you are aiming for multiplayer offline and online.

lol you are funny.. well maybe the armor covers it up... but i mean ok its normal that a girl dubs a guy... but japanese and english sound girly, even though Axl says Hes the enemy I dont know..... anyway I wish for a X9 maybe it will lead to the elf wars and Omega with leads to Megaman Zero and Copy X :p

OMG I totaly agree, Zero slashing enemies :D how cool or Axl or X :D
Yeah ^^ Zero get some Dante-Moves xD, X some moves from Dantes Gunslinger-Style xD and Axel... yeah...a totally new style xD
And graphic....mmhh... a good engine with Cell-Shading xD

There has been talk about Mega Man 2.5d but it is not from Capcom.
It's a remake of Megaman2 with 2D Sprites in 3D Backgrounds... for PSP!
Actually, not for any consoles at the moment or even in development. It is just a fan that used his super special awesome powers of 3d renders and graphic animation to make it look pretty real. It isn't real gameplay.

Hm, i want a game that closes the storyline between the classic and x series. I mean come on, the Roboenza Virus was the first version of the maverick virus in my eyes. The effect of the virus is nearly the same. And Wily is working on Zero since his Defeat at Megaman 7, because Power Battle 2 comes after Part 7 of the classic series. I want fight Zero in his first body, the body in X was the second. I can remeber that this was said in the fourth Zero Game when you fight the final boss.
And the original series had not to end with such a game, because they can make games that fits before this title into the timeline. No problem there in my eyes.

I'd just like to see a new 2D Megaman with updated graphics. (On console, perhaps downloadable) I really liked Megaman 7, Megaman & Bass, and Megaman X1-6. I appreciate that Megaman 9 and 10 were created for the oldest fans, but I grew up with Megaman 7 then the X series.

Megaman legends for the 3DS is the third in the series and a new game, it will be interesting to see if the series is as good as i remember it.
Capcomstaff; is there a chance that we will see a Megaman original (including Battle & Chase) and Megaman X collection (including Command Mission) on one PS3 blu-ray disc (which has a gigantic 50GB memory)?

I just read a news story on Kotaku last week saying that Capcom are releasing both of the remixed Megaman games in one set for around $20 in the US. I think its likely we will see it here too, looking forward to playing them in their remixed form.
