So, it seems that the USK (the german rating boards) have slipped up. They have an entry on their page that talks about a game called Lost Planet Colonies for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.

It seems the trademark was filed on May 30th, 2007.

Furthermore, Play.com have a release date listed for the 22nd February, though I doubt this is very credible and is just a placeholder date.

I am thinking this is a more multiplayer focused rendition of Lost Planet.

What do you guys think?

Lost Planet Extreme Condition was/is a Multiplayer focus game, it is something the reviewers forgot to mention.
I hope it is a expansion pack though.

why would you want an expansion pack when you could get a whole new game?

Edit

In the release date topic, chompans put

Lost Planet Extreme Condition 3rd Person Shooter PlayStation 3 29/02/2008

Its not just that. Its been rated (USK 16 = T for Teens) quite a while ago.

Heres a (new) T for Teen rating. (http://www.gamespot.com/news/6185576.html?action=convert&om_clk=latestnews&tag=latestnews;title;1)

Somewhat strange, all of this.
