Im particularly interested in this title - does anyone know how much of the game will be included in the mobile version? So far Ive seen Cerberus, and thats about it.
Where did you get info on it? I had no idea it was even in the works. Heard rumors of a PSP version, but not mobile.

At the same time as when Devil May Cry 4 is hitting the home console market, Dante will be making his first outing on the mobile phone, in Devil May Cry. For the first time mobile gamers will be able to play Devil May Cry 3 from the Playstation 2 on their mobile handset.
Take the role of Dante as you take down fierce enemies with awesome combos, solve puzzles and unlock weapons to improve your fighting skills. With a rating at the end of each mission for your fighting "style" and stunning visuals, Devil May Cry sets a new standard for the mobile gaming experience.
Some information and screenshots.
That actually looks really good. The real question is if its going to be released outside of Japan.

Awesome Graphics For The Mobile.
I bought it on release day from my phone provider, Its pretty good but you may have to alter the controls to get the most out of it, I completed it a few times, a shotgun is a bonus weapon, but thats all ive seen in adition to cerberus.

Mine is a Sony Ericsson W810i, anything around that spec sounds plausable, It is a Java app but those things have requirements in some cases.

How long does it take to beat the game ?? Is it worth gettin or is it done in under 30min ?

For one play through, it took me around 20 minutes, but there are several routes to go, so to complete the game would take several hours, its better to play it in small sessions though.
Some routes need a rank to unlock, so it may take several plays through a level to get S rank.

Decent service providers will let you get your money back if it doesnt work properly, be warned that not every provider has this policy so be careful who you buy from.
If your phone can run Java applications then it should be fine.

Dante, how do you feel the gameplay from the original DMC3 translates to this mobile version? Surely, its not a complete transfer, but is the framerate, and amount of on screen enemies decent?

It has its limitations but id say that they have done it just right, it can manage about 4 on screen enemies at once, but they spawn so quickly its not much of a problem, the combat system has been cropped down, its just two styles (Swordmaster, Gunslinger) which add a few special moves depending on what is chosen, Its still possible to do gun and sword combinations, although you can only select one type of Devil Arm and one type of gun per stage, the grading system has been altered too, the ranking only rises once a bar is filled and once its full, the rank raises by a letter permanently, There is no Devil Trigger, but the game is set before DMC3, and its not really missed anyway.
The missions are based more around a certain aspect of gameplay (such as collecting orbs, time limits) rather than various locations, although effort is made to make the areas look slightly different, rooms vary in size and textures, but because there is little story to this (just text between missions) its hard to get a feel for it.
There are a variety of enemies, the seven hells appear roughly the same with differences in colour, but their tactics are altered significantly depending on their colour, Enigmas (the four legged statue things) and the Arachne (the spiders) also appear, the only boss ive seen so far is Cerberus, ive not completed the game in its entirety so im not sure if he is the only boss, but he too varies in colour depending on difficulty.
The graphics appear to be basic PSone quality, which is pretty impressive considering its a mobile phone game, and the frame rate is decent enough to make it playable.
