Its a very nice system, I must admit. Its very much amazing - I really like the way there is one unified login.
I was afraid we would be merging into the Capcom Unity forums, but I must admit I am happy we are staying separate!
Its Nemmy556, btw for those members who dont know my real name.
Hey guys, great forum. I was contemplating on using my real name, but opted out of it last minute. I might change it some time if thats okay. So yeah, great design, lay-out, overall its fantastic.

My avatar shows up on my member page and on the front page- at least, it does for me. Did you try hitting submit twice when you were uploading it? Once to upload, then once its uploaded, once to save the changes? this seemed to do the trick for me when I was doing it

it seems like it hes still working on it, the ava uploads but after you refresh it the image dissapears again.

Dont think theres much more left to be said, since I didnt go over all the new buttons and stuff yet...but suffice to say,
its nice to see you all back here on the new Capcom Europe forum.
I have instant dislike of the new forum, I see myself posting less then I did on the old one from now on.

Chompman: Can we expect the basic stuff to pop up sometime soon? Like direct link to User CP, PM/E-Mail link in Member profiles and so on?
Not sure if its just me but do other people think itd be better if the Post, Preview and Cancel buttons were centered?

Theres something missing, though I cant put my finger on it.

Go to you PM Inbox, then clikc your username in the top right corner under the line that says Logged in as: Chompman.
It took me a while too. Also, I recommend putting a cap and a few underscores under your signature to space it out like mine is.
Hmm. A tad convoluted but groovy all the same...

There are many glitchy things going on with this forum at the moment. As I said in billybandits So... topic, if youre on Internet Explorer and try to log out, it doesnt actually log you out unless you exit the browser totally. Equally queer things happen with Firefox -- it illegaly operates if you even so much as go to the homepage.
So give it all time.

At the top of the page, on the same line where it says Logged in as: Dead Phoenix, rightwards is an Inbox link.
Click that and itll take you to your Inbox. Above the message grid are some more links that read Capcom Europe >> Dead Phoenix >> Inbox. Click on Dead Phoenix and itll take you to the Settings page.
On the left hand side of the splash of statistics should be a list of other links, and at the bottom of this is one for Signatures. Click that.
And away you go.

They work though, so why cant we keep them? Just wondering, thats all.
Theyre a tad annoying. Setting sig constraints and various other rules is going to be hassle and to be honest theyre simply causing trouble for low-speeders.
I know they work, if you find a backdoor to the forum profile page that the member information page is designed to supercede. Sigs are frowned on as they make threads look untidy and difficult to read, unless we spend a great deal of time and effort setting and enforcing strict guidelines for them, plus as has been mentioned they slow things down for slow-speeders.
When we were putting the new site together we considered the to sig or not to sig issue and we went with not to sig. So dont get too attached to your sigs, as they wont be around for ever.
Well, before the last incarnation of these boards (pre-March 2003), we lived without any images, just pure text [a bit like living in an MS-DOS world], so it wont be such an ordeal to re-adapt to that phase.
well over due for a facelift specially since 08 but just in time. 08 is going to be a big year for capcom IMO.
bit disapointed that I lost my post count but I make up for that on other forums so thats ok! X-D
I guess I better get into the habbit of doing manual sigs again then.

I think the new forums are rather nice, decided to check them out after receiving the e-mail update. Not sure if anyone remembers me, but Im a hell of a lot more mature then I used to be, and apologize to anyone who may remember my antics on Monster Hunter online, and the forum in general.
I suggest adding an Introductions forum, as I either havent seen it yet or have noticed the absence of one, which is why I wrote a bit more then needed in the preceding part of this post.
Also, I think James= DragonKing? Just a vague guess, I think I remember that name. Im only using this handle because it might be familiar, offhandedly I think it sounds like a stereotype gamer name thats seen too much.

Im very impressed to see the updated site and forum of the Capcom-Europe section.
Very good job and I sure bet it can have a better success now more than ever.
Oh, and hello to you all. Im a newbie who have no clue where hes at (a newbie from the old forum from 2003 with above 5000 posts!! Av the Israeli guy), just kidding, good to be here, now that Street Fighter is kicking as well as some other Capcom games it sure is a great time to be around, will be here as long as Im not in the army.
