Welcome to the new Capcom Europe Forums
In order to post messages, you must become a Registered User. You must be 13 years old or over. Those under 13 may be able to register if a parent or guardian signs a permission slip for them, but please be aware that users of this board may be exposed to discussions games and topics that may be considered adult.
Capcom Europe Community Rules
Any Capcom fan can freely visit the Capcom Europe Community BBS to view messages on the bulletin board, but you must be a registered member in order to post messages.
The Capcom Europe Forum Administrators and the moderators appointed by them reserve the right to edit or delete any and all content of the message board.
The views expressed on the message board are not necessarily those of Capcom Europe.
Profanity is prohibited on the message board. This includes in your posts, in your signatures and in your user names. User names containing profanity will result in account deletion.
Users who use profanity will be warned and may be banned without warning or explanation. This means swear words, or cursing. If your word doesnt get caught by the system thats your fault and you still will get banned. Preview your post. Or better yet, why even use bad words at all? It s perfectly possible to make your point without profanity, and you ll have a much lower chance of being banned.
No bumping of threads without good reason is allowed. Don t post in a thread from a year ago without having something important to contribute, and don t make two posts in the same thread in a row - edit your existing post instead.
Please always try to be considerate of your fellow Capcom Europe Community members. The Capcom Europe Community is open to kids and adults of all races and gender. Please keep this in mind when posting. Discrimination or racial content or other offensive posts will not be tolerated.
Flame wars or fights will not be tolerated. Any flame thread or post with comments aimed at another BBS member will be pulled down and may result in a warning or banning.
Any picture uploaded within a post that is vulgar or depicts any material viewed as not appropriate by the BBS Administrator will result in a warning. Material judged particularly bad will result in an immediate banning.
No pirating games, illegal roms, warez, emulators, hacking consoles, mod chips, etc talk will be allowed. This is true for Capcom and non-Capcom titles. Breaking of this rule will result in a warning or an automatic banning.
No posting of advertisements or public promotion of other BBS forums allowed, except in signatures and at the discretion of the moderators and admins.
The Administrators of this board reserve the right to ban members without warning or consultation. An administrator or moderator can choose to issue one or more public or private warnings to a user as an alternative to an outright ban.
Don t get into arguments or flame wars with the moderators. They have been appointed by the administrators to moderate these boards, and they have our full confidence. Any argument with a moderator will result in a warning or a ban.
Signature size. Signatures must be small and relatively unobtrusive. Users must change their signature if instructed by a moderator. Administrators may remove a user s signature without warning or consultation.
Image sigs of a reasonable size (both size on the page and file size) may be allowed at the discretion of the moderators and admins.
Links in signatures may be allowed at the discretion of the moderators and admins. Links to inappropriate sites (such as, but not limited to, porn sites) will result in an immediate ban.
There s some extremely good advice on the Eurogamer forum, which I think users of any forum would do well to read before they post:
When posting...
1. Craft your subject line - Be descriptive, but be brief. [If your thread subject gives no clue to its contents, it will be renamed]
2. Category - Put your thread in the right category and it can be found more easily through the filters than one in the Gaming category.
3. Language - Dont write in ALL CAPS or TXT SPK or L33T SP33K - It is hard to read and annoys people.
4. Write clearly - We cant all be great writers, but at least we can give it our best shot.
Think before you post...
1. Intent - Are you writing something that you want to question, inform or share with the other users?
2. Chill out - If someone is being an idiot, you dont have to join them.
3. Worth - Is there a similar thread, are you creating a thread to reply to another, have you done a search?
4. Discussion - This is a public discussion forum, so if you wish to talk to another member privately you should attempt a different form of communication.
5. Spam - Blatant advertising, trolling and linking to illegal stuff such as warez are not allowed.
6. Abuse - If your post is abusing other users or moderators you run the risk of being banned.
