This is the thread for people whove got the game and want to talk about it.
What do you think? What made you buy it? Whats your favourite bit so far? Try not to give answers to the puzzles though, theres a separate thread for that, and I dont want peoples enjoyment of the game spoiled by accidentally seeing the solutions here.

Ive purchased the US version as I had no patience to wait >_> and it seems it paid off since I got it back in October. Its extremely fun, and I have no hesitations in recommending it to anyone who enjoys using the Wiis motion based controls. Fortunately also, the art style is great, graphics are amazing (for the Wii, at least) and its just all around fun to play.
Its not as fast as your standard shooters or anything, but it really makes you think hard, unlike some other games out today.
I really want it, whens it due for European release? I would get it when Im over in America, but the region restriction is annoying... Ill be getting it when its release though, hopefully.
its out, Shockwave. It hit the shops on Friday, although NOE do have something of a habit of not distributing a lot of stock so it might be hard to find. Theres a couple of online retailers who have it, if you cant find it in your local game shops (although last time I checked, Amazon thought it was coming out at the end of this month)

Really? Hmmm... I was down my local GameStop and they didnt have it, looks like the aforementioned distribution problems are true. Anyway, when Im back from America Ill but it.

Zack & Wiki is a very niche game - it doesnt really appeal to everyone so many stores didnt get a lot of allocated stock (at least here in Australia)

Definitely! I thoroughly recommend it. I was going to review it for my local Aussie Nintendo site, though someone took the opportunity from me.
well we are doing our best to un-hidden-ify it (that is TOTALLY a word, by the way) and trying to get the word-of-mouth out about what a good game it is. the problem is that the only way someones really going to grasp how good it is is by playing it - and how do you a sell a game that people really really want to buy after theyve bought it?
NOE are using their advertising slots on cartoon network to promote the game, which is nice. But what I really need is for everyone who buys the game and likes it to get onto their friends and family and tell them how great it is. Not to mention doing the same thing online. If you love Zack and Wiki - tell the world!

In the last two podcasts I am involved in over at Vooks.Net (which got one of the #1 most downloaded podcasts relating to video games), I thoroughly recommended it to people to play. Furthermore, a mate of mine also recommended it in the most recent one.
Im doing a hard job of spreading the word - its a game that deserves to be recognised.
I loved it from the first moment and baught it at saturday. I saw a screenshot and the character-design captured me instantly.
I realy hope that capcom will release more games of this type in future.
I would love to play this game as judging by the screen shots and reviews its suppose to be good. However im having trouble getting my hands on a Nintendo Wii at the minute, lol.

it is a new game made by Capcom for the nintendo wii which uses the wii-mote to great affect.
Basically youre on a quest for treasure and you need to use the wii-mote to solve puzzles ie doing saw motions to cut down a tree or using a tapping motion to break some ice around a chest (both motions have been seen on the Z&W adverts.

I dont trust this game, Ive had enough of these games that are made for 8 year olds and under.
Usually when I play kid games I want to play them portable with my headphones.
is this a game you can play while other people are watching and helping you out, or is this something you need to play alone?
