Looks like my little brothers style, although, he would have done better already, but the faces develop pretty well.
SoE - Secret of Evermore?
I rarely draw characters in front because I suck at that. I mosty draw sideways like this:

Different huh?
And no, its Song of Eternity but that's just what I'm calling it for now.
Cool club!
That stuff is strange! Optically confusing. Honestly you'd say that its bad but I feel urged to consider the details, like here the armor which I had difficulties with on figuring out how it works.
Then there is that mail or what it is around the left ankle which appears quite simple - so, appearantly you know how to guard your .... yeah, appearance.
(Edit: I just found that link, and I want to avoid misunderstandings, so I wanted to say that I'm certain that you know your way around (But I wouldn't say that sprite is fine though!). I wonder how you imagine it to be. I was considering to try myself on giving you a version of me from yours, but I don't have energy available for that. Sorry then.)

Now worries, I know that I'm not at the same level as the pros at spriting, but I'm still learning. Got a great tip from a friend who said that it's a good start with draw a image on a papper, scan it and then make a sprite of it. Will make a test that way some time, haven't thought and worked like that before.
:chin:I think if you scan them in, and have a program that draws straight lines, you could try getting into a rather edgy style ... that would work pretty fast pretty cool!
