View Full Version : Resident evil 4 (Pc) error!!!

I tried to download (From a disk!) Resi 4 for PC but when i click the play icon it says something along the lines of - 'Residentevil.exe has stopped working -Direct something?!
I follwed some guys advice and downloaded the latest Direct X. But its still not working!
What should i do to make it work? Not a new Pc! (Laptop) I got it last year! :cry:
I didn't think Resi 4 was up to download legally.

I have the disk, i meant downloading it to the computer. I should have been more specific.
I don't have the system requirements at home and I don't have your specs but as a rule the chipsets in laptops are downsized version of what you get in desktops, the graphics cards don't meet the minimum requirements.

- Processor: 2.4GHz
- RAM: 512MB
- Video Memory: 256MB

Yes, I'd seen those Spike, it doesn't tell me enough about the graphics card though. I'm pretty sure that's the issue, laptops (unless they're specifically gaming machines) are just not made for gaming.

You should have done it from the start. It's the best version: graphic, controls, contents. ;)

I have. It was the first i had i just wanted it on another consol. ;)
