I am just asking if its possible, it would enhance our artistic abilities :D and love for capcom and we are all equal here, right? :D we all should have the same rights... :D

This should be a poll, but I agree with that, with restrictions on size and maximum size in bytes...:high5:

This is true.
It was brought up a while back, the feature was apparently removed because they wanted to streamline the forums instead of having miles of images, but this had not been the case, people still use images for their PSN and Xbox Live cards and whatnot.
I'm annoyed that it's now seemingly a mod-exclusive feature, In all fairness it should be all or none, size restrictions and dimension restricts are all thats needed, not everyone will have a sig, just slightly more than before. Sure there will be the odd spoon who thinks they are smart by making a wallpaper image in to a signature, but thats not a problem if a responsible person flags a post they make and they can cut out the feature for them...
It annoyed me last time that the feature was turned off and the first few to the punch managed to get image sigs while a backdoor to do so was open, A minor offense but one thats hardly fair considering all who did it got to keep their signatures while the rest of us had none...
I wish the admin would reconsider this type of thing, it was a choice made a long time ago by another admin. If it's a yes, good, if it's a no, fine, I just want to know where this situation stands at the moment...

I agree wuth you, I am sure if there will be rule made for sigs (signatures) and users will respect them everything will work out. so eather we should be all treated the same way here :cool: so everyone is alowed or none.
please admins and mods consider this.

I agree on this matter, I only want to put My Portable ID for PS3, show off some trophies and compare mine with others, at the very least they should enable any code used for Potable ID's and XBox Gamer Tags

One of the reasons why Sigs aren't allowed (for the moment) for everyone is because it's something that can easily be abused.
I'm certain that when things calm down, and Tenebra has more time to sort things out, it'll be something that is implemented in a way that doesn't cause yet more work for both Mods and Admin alike.
But isn't fair that you can use a picture and I cannot.

Well, for one, I wouldn't mind having at least 1 perk for working as a Moderator...because I'm not sure if you're aware of it or not, but Moderators don't get paid for doing this...yet we put up with a lot of intolerance from forum users on a regular basis.
But on top of that, I guess it is currently seen that Moderators are easily trusted to stick within the rules for a Signature.
As I say, I'm sure when Tenebra and other Capcom Employees have the time and money to sort it all out, people will eventually be able to have pictures in their signatures.
When the right time comes I will most certainly look seriously into allowing pics in signatures. At the moment we're not in a position to have more moderation to do - and nobody likes offensive signatures ;)
just have your signiture as a link, thats what i do, then anyone who cares about sigs can look at it and those that dont are not affected

there should be a limit about dimensions of the signatures
for example i still have a 56k dial-up connection because Telecom isn't interested in connecting my area with a broadband line :(

I'm sure people are sick of me going on about my old forum by now, but in it, we had no image sigs, only a link to it.
Hopefully that's still allowed as I'm currently working on mine right now.
Image sigs would be nice, but as someone already said, it could be easily abused.
I've noticed that thezombiemessia and Spike have ridicolous big signatures... And I can't put a little picture... :(
Not that the picture is the biggest part of the signature... Just to note that.

Character limits should be enforced in the future once signatures are brought in to the mainstream on this site. It prevents users from having to take a minute to scroll through something small just because users use up a lot of signature 'lines' and space.
Communities that lack strict rules such as this look an absolute mess. Insomniac's communities come to mind. 2 to 3 large signatures stacked on top of eachother for one user's sig space, etc. It's disgusting.
It's easy to put limit on how much content can be insterted into a signature... starting from text lenght to number of pictures.
