While many point to Monster Hunter as starting a trend in multiplayer PSP and DS games, Hunter Blade didn't just take hints from the social aspects of the Capcom hit. It pretty much copies everything, right down to the attack animations.
There are a couple of differences worth mentioning. First off, you fight in parties of five. Also, there are giant enemy crabs (perhaps with weak points?)
Gigazine (http://gigazine.net/index.php?/news/comments/20090520_blade_hunter/) (via the frequently updated Game no Hanashi (http://remoon.blog15.fc2.com/blog-entry-8718.html)) says that it contacted Capcom about the game and was told that it's not in any way a licensed product.
Just thought I'd share the story.
whats new about giant enemy crabs? i mean sure shogun and daimo are rather smaller than the Hunter Blade ripoffs but what about shen gao ren?
Don't ask me, that guy wrote the article.

WTF!? if...but...no... ok sooo to me it looks like an old version of mh before it was decentafied. but if its not how the holy flip flop can anyone be getting away with releasing it? the creature AND character movements are IDENTICAL caps off. the weapons r the same. can u say Hermitaur?!, at the end there? geez. the video made me want to be sick. lolz
Silly China and their "cloning" antics. One thing they might've done right was showing the elements on the proper weapon instead of it connecting against a monster and showing the element.
Other than that, it's just what it is, cheap knockoff. ;F
Also, uh.

DS MH? Never heard about it. ;x I'm guessing the blogger needs to re-check his info. Or maybe just replace DS with Wii, lol.

he just meant MH inspired some games that were made for DS.
Guess i'll have to play this since Capcom won't bring Frontier over to the US/EU ;_;

Surly there must be legal rights towards this?

Everything is virtually the same even the monsters.....
*sigh* from the makers of the POPstation i take? -.-
Monster Hunter owns it (sorry Jarlino and thanks)
