i have totally neglected SF4 for about a week now, every time i go to play it for some reason it feels like a chore.
i think its just because there is a lot of things in this game that make me so incredibly angry....characters, moves and probably the fact the controller is a complete pain in the tits.
i find myself just sitting doing challenges and listening to my friends play championship mode.
does anyone else get moments were SF4 can just drain the life from you?
Ive been told i am a cracking wee fighter and i want to work on that but......i don't know what happened.
anyone help?

aye been the same recently, I think I just get bored after a shortwhile and move on to other titles. SF4 is a (pick up and play) game which IMHO means that I will go back to it when I fancy a quick battle.
I really should be looking at increasing my CP but CM Dirt has my attention at the mo, shame really.
Cremat0ria, you are a kick-ass fighter. Don`t let those spammers dissuade you. I think your biggest problem is that you don`t have a fightstick. Also try to avoid laggy matches... Sucks when the rules change mid-fight.
And if you do take a break, it`s not like you`re not gonna be able to give an asswhooping when you come back. If it becomes work, just do something else for a bit.

I agree, Crem you are way above average on SF4 and you should stick with it. Having played with you you appear to be like me (i.e. easily wound up by cheapness, spammers, naff controllers etc...) I have found myself with SF making a concerted effort to chill out keep calm and enjoy the game. Lets face it the variables in Street Fighter will always remain and therefore it is about countering those.
I cannot believe how patient I have become with it, I still turn the air blue but now it's more a case of how can I avoid that in future. Another thing that has helped me is after going Ken, Akuma, Ryu and Gief up until now I added some spice over the weekend by going straight into Championship mode with Balrog and Cammy, must admit some games were tought but the variation has really spurred me on.Stick with it mate you are far too good not to ;):D:cool:
I clocked more than 90 hours with SF4 already and i feel that' SF4 exhausted me now. Need a break. Breaks are good though, when you come back you are fresh and vigilant.
SF4 is not going away that easily and online makes that game strong. Before SF4 i spend much time with Fallout 3. Now Broken Steel is out so a good reason to come back.
As they say, all is good for you in right proportions.
I've been in the same boat crem, havent played online for over a week, you up for some matches latter this week to invigorate us both again?
Also dont forget my competition, kick ass ryu t shirt and trophy up for grabs.
I hope that shirt is X-Large:D
i have small medium and large jittar, i hope large is big enough for you!?
Not if I`m winning...I`ll have to sit still for a long time if I`m gonna amass enough points to beat the leader. Long enough to make my belly swell. Well I`m in it for the honour anyway.:p

cheer up ! :D
Whats keeping it alive for me is i found a great little forum with not a huge amount of people on it all varying skill but all want to play to get better (not fb spammers) so what we are doing is playing tourneys vs each another you find less fb spammers and more friendly advise.
I keep plugging them but it really is a good site www.eventhubs.com
check out the sf4 guides there great.
If your really that down this maby isnt the game for you, I find sessions of one or two hours helps with an hour break in between.
one to many kens?

it is defo my kind of game, its in my blood(was that corny) its just certain parts of the game that get me down real bad.
like for instance today, i actually got back in from a massive road trip and had the urge to fight again it felt amazing. It was Fei Long(me) VS vega, on the second round i focus cancel out of my fire kick and go to burst into the ultra..........and that was it.....player has disconnected. I literally ate my own face.
also the 3 characters that are made to totally ruin the game but everyone knows who i hate the most so i wont break that out again.
moments that dont make sense and small advantages certain characters have over the rest. I think some characters are catered for so the less skilled players can pick it up and play.
playing a few games of L4D and unfortunately HALO3 and after a wee while i get a small urge to play again. so hopefully i will get back to the way i was.

A fun thing to do to get some retribution is to look out for players over 5% disconnect rate and instead of kicking them switch over to the news and see how long they wait before disconnecting or moving on the way i see it is they waste my and everyones time so revenge is fair!
