I'm just wandering what's Capcom stand on fan created stuff using Capcom art (eg. SF4 logo).
examples:
I have seen some iGoogle fan created themes for Street Fighter and i would like to create my own, but can i use SF4 logo on it?
i'm making Youtube video from SF4, can i use SF4 logo or music from game in it ?
i think a question with about T-shirts have answer with big NO in it. But i feel a bit disappointed seeing in Gamestation SF4 t-shirts for £14.99 wih a poor print ( only good one is with rubber fell print which i have).
In the past many games had like a fan art pack to use in websites or such. Do Capcom have one for their games ? if so what's the limitation of use ?
I'm talking here on purely noncommercial use in all cases.

At this stage Capcom is not planning to release any fan kits any time soon but it's something already in discussion.
I asked ten about this before, the thing that suprised me is that a sole proprietor cant even sell stuff with Capcom characters on to a few friends even if they did all the art themselves.
I personally thought that ip copywrite wouldn't be an issue for a sole proprietor making stuff mostly just as a hobby and to sell solely so other fans can get some nice stuff as opposed to for profit due to how much it is going on (a lot, just google street fighter t shirt). I guess Capcom has to protect there ip no matter what with their offical comment on the issue even if they dont follow up and put the smack down on people selling such wares.
Still im chuffed that i can make t shirts just for me as like you say Braqoon the ones available in retail stores are horrible at least outside of japan anyway. Edit: That is what your saying right ten? Non commercial use is fine for apparel as well as websites and videos?
Still Capcom Europe did produce a very nice Ryu one for a promo event last year that is now only available via the USA Capcom store, i might just of acquired one of those for a certain competition i'm running. :whistle:

Yes i completely understand ten and please trust me now i would never do such a thing, i just wanted to point out i was suprised that it wasn't allowed because it obviously goes on so much.
So If I wanted to sell Capcom stuff, do I have to get a licence, or how does all that work?
No commercial = selling and buying to yourself.

Another question: Is there a source of high-resolution logo images of Monster Hunter or even high-resolution CG art? Because I found a ~200MB MHFU Logo psd at Capcoms Press Page but I can't login anymore... don't know why.
