Dear Capcom,

I absolutely love SF4. It is a remarkable game and hats off to all those involved. But the past few days have been an absolute nightmare, and progressively each day I am less willing to take this game online... in fear of a nasty glitch ruining my hard work again and again.

Like hundreds of users online with the PSN, I am cursed with losing tons of GP every time I try to enter Network Battle mode on SF4. It is getting to the point that no matter how many GP I accumulate in a session, no matter how careful I am with exiting only when a tournament is concluded, I always lose GP. Typically it is 500-600GP... which takes a LONG time to accumulate. I've tried everything... even ending my sessions with a long bout of player/ranked matches just to be sure. But none of it works.

The whole point of this patch is to give users a real online mode, something which should have been there from day one. I am but one out of hundreds who are losing GP and getting very frustrated. I love the game, and I know this patch is free, but this is a major issue for all players affected even once.

I bought a PS3 only for this game, this is how loyal a fan I am. But until I know this issue has been addressed, I cannot go online for fear of never reaching the G2 status I would have reached long ago.

Please, please, please sort this out. It is frustrating beyond belief.
On the PSN my id is awesome-pirate. It is now trying to reset my GP from 764 to 263 or so... fourth time in a row. I have lost over 2000GP in total.

I log in and it says due to the previous championship not being concluded properly I need to start from the first battle. Now I just resort to pressing reset and not going online at all. Please help me fix this so I can be confident buying your games in future.... like Marvel Vs Capcom 2.

I also have this issue, though only with BP since I have'nt tried the championship mode yet. Yesterday I was at 500~ BP today I woke up to find that I had lost all of them. Please fix this issue capcom.

EDIT:
Oh yeah and also, I sometimes cannot get access to the replay files.

Hi guys, sorry to hear about your problem. I've reported the issue to QA, investigation on its way.

Hi I have had exactly the same frustrating problem.

I had 410 points a the start of a session. Went up to 530. The next day, after closing correctly and all. I was again on 410
Today the same problem. I went from 738 to 897. This evening I wanted to start a new session. And again 738 points.... :yell:

This is very frustrating and if this happens again, I think I quit playing. This is really demotivating.
Please Capcom try to fix this problem (PS3?)... It's a great game, but not like this...

this is just absurd and annoying :S it happened to me twice now, i spent a real long sessions ranking from 738gp to 1138 or something, then today i logged in and got the last tournament bla bla bla message whatever thingie, and my gp is reset to 738, i mean this in the nicest way possible but WTF.

many other people already reported this, what did capcom do ?
the original poster posted on april 9th? is this so not important that it's not fixed yet in over a month? really?

i can't play this game anymore, it's a flat out waste of time.
So disappointed capcom, i bet there isn't even a policy where i can return the game for such sucky support lol
