View Full Version : Can no longer copy my SF4 360 save file?!
So i updated to the championship update and suddenly i'm now no longer able to make a backup copy of my sf 4 save file... has capcom put copy lock on the file? If so why?

I was hoping i could backup to protect against this happening again.
how were you backing up? via one of those connectors to your pc?
A lot of games you can't copy from the 360.
To guess it has been copy protected to stop people copying save for other people who have not played the game properly.
It happens on many fighter games
I suppose its just lucky that i already had a backup save on my memory stick and my bro's 360. Still haven't unlocked Gouken or seth yet though.. Ah well.. At least the online battle points are read directly from live/ps3 network so it shouldn't matter which 360 i play online with my points should update automatically... (i hope_)

I was just using a 360 memory card to transport data between my 360 and my brother's whilest keeping the copy on my memory card as a backup. Shame that they had to copy protect but i suppose i can see their point of view if they received reports of people downloading complete game saves (cheating).
