Announcing UDON's Marvel vs Capcom: Official Complete Works

Today UDON announced the latest addition to its impressive “Complete Works” roster – an amazing Marvel vs Capcom collection that includes all the gorgeous art from the series, as well as all new illustrations by Joe Ng, Long Vo, Chamba, Adam Warren, and Takeshi Miyazawa.

One of the biggest fighting game tournaments in the world just kicked off Today, and will continue across the whole weekend. Shadowloo Showdown 2012 live from Australia has one of the most impressive lineups of professional fighting game players in attendance, including 5 of the UK’s best players: F-Word, Andreas, Don-D, Zak Bennett, and the one and only Ryan (Prodigal Son) Hart!
They will be streaming all of Capcom’s major fighting game titles, Super Street Fighter IV: AE, Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3, and Street Fighter X Tekken! The Value Pack available to download now for Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3 will get you all the costumes released until now for the cast of UMVC3. So if you want Wolverine as Weapon X, Cyber Akuma, Elvis MODOK or even She-Hulk in a suit and of course a whole lot more then fire up your console and get downloading. (please note that alternate costumes for Jill, Shuma-Gorath and Magneto are not included in this pack.) The Value Pack is available for PS3 and Xbox 360. Alternatively if you’ve been collecting the costumes as you go along the Ancient Warrior pack is also out today, again for PS3 and Xbox 360, and includes costumes for Hulk, Arthur and Firebrand – check them out below.

Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is now available for the PlayStation Vita system. Unleash your ultimate anytime, anywhere as the latest version builds upon the console experience, complete with all modes plus new features designed specifically for the PS Vita system. The Heroes & Heralds mode, a separate mode for online and offline gameplay, is available as a free update for the system beginning today.

The epic rematch looms in the distance as Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 prepares to take the battle to all-new heights. With new iconic characters from the Marvel and Capcom universes, 48 characters (total of 50 with DLC), a refined fighting system, eight new stages and new modes, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 continues the Capcom fighting game legacy.

The PS Vita system version of Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 includes several new features specific to the system. Players can battle in exciting online matches using new touch screen controls, either locally or via wi-fi. A Spectator Mode and Replay function lets players watch and share matches over wi-fi and the Replay analyser allows downloads of replay data which can be evaluated to hone skills. The PS Vita system NEAR feature offers an exclusive Gold Herald colour option for all characters which can be obtained through trades with friends. For fans who also have the PlayStation 3, DLC purchased from the console can be shared and the PS Vita system can be used as the “Ultimate Controller” to play the PS3 version of the game. Lastly, the console DLC Heroes & Heralds is a separate mode that is available as a free update.

UMVC3 Viewtiful Strange costume pack available now

The Viewtiful Strange pack is the biggest costume pack to date containing six as opposed to four alternate costumes. And in it you’ll get new costumes for Viewtiful Joe, Tron, Phoenix Wright, Dormammu, Dr Strange and Nova. The pack costs 320 MSP for Xbox 360, and £3.19/€3.99 for PS3, check them out below!

Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3 takes the epic battle to all new heights with 12 new characters from the Marvel and Capcom universes, a refined fighting system, eight new stages and new modes. The PS Vita edition of Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3 builds upon the console experience, complete with all modes from the console version including Heroes & Heralds mode, plus new features designed specifically for the PS Vita.
The PS Vita version features online and local multiplayer, touch screen functionality, NEAR support and everything you would find in the PS3 version. In addition, the PS Vita version includes a Spectator Mode and Replay function that allows players to watch or share exciting matches over wi-fi. PS Vita exclusive Gold Herald colour options are also available for the characters. As an integrated option, gamers can use the PS Vita as the “Ultimate Controller” to play the PS3 version of the game.
