in Best DLC (steady!) we have Ryu inAsura’s Wrath
Now…here is the triple threat. Best Gaming Moment…up first there is Asura’s Wrath – Azura vs. Wyzen (what a fight). Then we have Dragon’s Dogma – Griffon Battle and THEN its back to Resident Evil: Revelations – TWO SHIPS! what a twist!.
Finally we have the prestigious Ultimate game of the year and our one nod goes to Resident Evil: Revelations
There are plenty of worthy foes in this competition so get involved and make sure your favourite Capcom title wins big.
Thank you.
More Revelations from Resident Evil
Mar 8th

IGN recently interviewed Resident Evil Revelations producer Masachika Kawata and director Koshi Nakanishi and in their answers they revealed a lot of what was cut from Revelations. For example, the game wasn’t always going to take place on an isolated ship:
“One early idea was to have the virus-ridden ship arriving at a port at the beginning of the game, with the action kicking off in the port area. We ended up using the ship as the main setting, but remnants of that early concept can be found in the Terragrigia and mountain sections of the game.” – Masachika Kawata

Iwata asks – gets lots of answers
Feb 7th
Iwata Asks is a semi-regular feature where the President of Nintendo, Satoru Iwata, basically asks a lot of questions. And who’s answering them this time? The development team behind the amazing Resident Evil: Revelations. It’s an incredible interview and it’s very lengthy too so if you ever wanted to know what Iwata would ask the Resi: Rev team then head over to Nintendo.
Resident Evil: Revelations out now!
Jan 27th

Resident Evil: Revelations is out now for Nintendo 3DS! Taking place in 2005, between the events of Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5, the action centres on BSAA member Jill Valentine and introduces her new partner Parker Luciani. Set principally on board a supposedly abandoned cruise ship in the Mediterranean, Jill and Parker have been sent to search for Chris Redfield, whose last known GPS data positions him as being on the ship. Far from being empty, danger lurks around every corner as Jill and Parker explore the confined space of the ship and must face a menacing new enemy that emerges from the darkness.
Check out some of the reviews it’s been getting!
“Dark, terrifying and brilliantly exciting, Revelations is a triumph on 3DS.”
Official Nintendo Magazine
“Revelations will be remembered as one of the better entries in this series, and should serve as a notice to all other developers, including Nintendo itself – this is the type of production value we want to see on the 3DS.”
IGN
“Resident Evil: Revelations is gorgeous, huge, and offers the most fully-featured online co-op experience on 3DS.”
Eurogamer
“…Giant-tongued zombies now offer a compelling reason to own a 3DS, and that bioterrorism has found a snuggly new home.”
The Guardian
“Resident Evil: Revelations is a thoroughly successful crossbreeding of old-school chills and new-school action.”

New Resident Evil Revelations screens detail StreetPass features
Jan 12th
The release of Resident Evil: Revelations on the Nintendo 3DS is creeping ever closer like a sawn in half zombie clawing with its half-eaten finger tips. Or to put it another way Revelations is out on 27th of January! Now as you know the game is packed with features such as the hug single player campaign and the two-player RAID mode, but there’s also the Street Pass function which enables you to pick up and unlock some very special bonuses. Head over to Capcom Unity to find out what they are!
Resident Evil: Revelations live stream Friday, plus four new screens
Dec 16th
Live streaming a 3DS game? Is such a thing even possible? Turns out… yes! And no aliens are involved either. To prove it we’ll stream a solid hour of Revelations’ RAID mode, which is a substantial bonus mode new to this game. Pick a character, choose your weapons, customize their parts and then dive into a series of levels in search of loot…
We’ll kick it off at 9pm GMT and play for an hour, showing off various levels, playable characters and how custom parts are unlocked. Said custom parts give your weapons all kinds of extra capabilities, be it stun power, increased range or rapid fire, so replaying levels for more item drops is key. Best of all, it’s playable solo or with a friend (local or over the Nintendo WFC). More details tomorrow during the stream, which will take place on our Twitch TV page.
Until then, we also have three additional screens from the game’s story mode. While RAID is all about action, Revelations’ slower pace triggers memories of the classic games in the RE series. Both sides of the coin, as it were.
One thing to note about this trailer though – the actual game runs notably smoother. Recording video off any handheld, be it Vita, 3DS or even GBA, rarely looks as clean and smooth as it does on its native platform. Keep that in mind during the stream, too!
