Today we are proud to release several new trailers and gameplay videos for the PS Vita version of Street Fighter X Tekken due for release this Autumn!

Street Fighter III fans rejoice as African Princess Elena teams up with her old English pal Dudley, showing off her dance-like acrobatic skills! This time round she isn’t the only fighter to utilise capoeira, as Christie Monteiro joins kung-fu cop Lei Wulong to provide even more crazy leg spinning antics! This is just the beginning, as the PS Vita version introduces a total of 12 new cast members to the world of SFxT: Blanka, Cody, Dudley, Elena, Guy and Sakura from the Street Fighter side, and Alisa Bosconovitch, Bryan Fury, Christie Monteiro, Jack, Lars Alexandersson and Lei Wulong from the Tekken side!

Announced and showcased during Captivate for the first time was the Cross Play functionality which allows owners of the PS Vita version of Street Fighter X Tekken to compete against owners of the PlayStation®3 version anywhere in the world, via wifi or 3G! Whether you’re at the bus stop, or in the comfort of your living room, jump into a match with Street Fighter X Tekken players from around the world, and show off your tag skills!

We’re also happy to announce that those who purchase the PS Vita version, can transfer the additional characters to their PlayStation®3 version free of charge! Check out the trailer below to see for your selves how it works!

Other features confirmed for the PS Vita version of Street Fighter X Tekken were the introduction of touch controls, local and Wi-Fi multiplayer plus Near functionality alongside all the content from the home console version. You’ll hear more regarding these features throughout the up coming months.
