Angry new release date for Asura's Wrath

Good evening Asura fans, we just wanted to let you know that the new release date for Asura’s Wrath is 9th March, two weeks later than the original release date… Fear not though, it gives him more time to get ANGRY, REALLY ANGRY. Stay tuned for more news and Wrath, coming soon via an anger explosion near you.

Alex Valle and Aris Bakhtanians Confirmed as Coaches for Cross Assault

Two legends of the fighting game scene are set to head up the two rival teams for the Street Fighter x Tekken Cross Assault competition! Both Alex Valle and Aris Bakhtanians are huge names in the community and if you’d like to know a bit more about them then you can read all about their accomplishments and credentials here. If anyone in America is reading this then the submission phase to enter as a contestant on Cross Assault ends this coming Sunday, February 5th. A massive $25,000 dollars is up for grabs, so if you haven’t created your video blog, do so now and submit at Capcom Unity.
Street Fighter X Tekken Goes Gold! Bison teased again!

Unless it’s some other hat wearing dictator… Over on Capcom Unity Street Fighter x Tekken dev Ayano-san has posted up a new developer blog which details a few fixes coming to a patch for SSFIV Arcade Edition. And he also posted that image above, such a tease! But we’ll have lots more soon on Street Fighter x Tekken and don’t forget to join the SFxT Facebook page!
The Super Ultimate Capcom Showcase!

Held in Sydney on February 1st, the Super Ultimate Capcom Showcase was open to the Australian public to show off Asura’s Wrath, Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City and Street Fighter X Tekken.
With major Capcom identities Seth Killian (SFXT) and Mike Jones (RE:ORC), and Hiroshi Matsuyama and Kazuhiro Tsuchiya from the Asura’s Wrath team, over 300 Capcom fans were able to get up close and personal with some of the year’s biggest games. An incredible night for three incredible games!
Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3 on the PS Vita!

Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3 is coming on out this month on the 22 February! And it retains all the characters, all the combos and all the different modes of the home console versions and manages to squeeze in touch controls, online leader boards and the amazing Heroes & Heralds mode! Check out the video above to see how good it looks in motion and the screens below because it also looks good static and provides a sampling of the exclusive Gold Herald colour options available for all characters which can be obtained through costume sharing via the PS Vita’s NEAR function. In addition, the PS Vita version includes a Spectator Mode and Replay function that allows players to watch or share exciting matches over wi-fi. We’ll have more in the coming weeks up to its release and then you’ll be able to battle to save the Earth anywhere you go!

Hey, we were in Sydney, Australia showing off some of the awesome games we’ve got coming out in 2012 at the Super Ultimate Capcom Showcase! Everyone who attended got to play Street fighter x Tekken (after they’d queued for a bit – it was pretty hectic in the SFxT section), Asura’s Wrath, Operation Raccoon City and Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3 on the PS Vita.
