Well this is damn impressive, in a campy 70s Dr Who kind of way. But GameTrailers has started a new series that uses recent games for its inspiration. And the first one is Operation Raccoon City. So watch as Lupo (Umbrella) and Shona (Spec-Ops) face off against not just each other but zombies and B.O.W.s galore!
Six handy hints for playing the Dragon's Dogma demo
Apr 25th
Every Xbox owner should have by now downloaded and played the Dragon’s Dogma demo and today PS3 owners get to sample the delights of destroying harpies, goblins and the griffin. And to get you into the (sword) swing of things before the PSN updates here’s a handy article from our favourite Dragon’s Dogma fanatic Matt Lees from OXM. In it he explains how to get the most out of the demo – read the full piece on OXM.
If I was going to add a seventh point on to this it would be – Don’t Mash! The Fighter and the Strider have timed combos that are different if you change up the timing. For instance the Fighter can do a simple three hit combo, but if you put a pause inbetween the first and second hit this can be changed to a rather fancy four hit combo! Oh and you can cancel these normal attacks into specials – do the three hit combo then cancel the last hit into Blink Strike and it’ll make you feel like Dante doing his Stinger attack!
Dead Rising 2 Off the Record Now Available Digitally, for Cheap
Apr 25th
Hilarious zombie slayfest Dead Rising 2 Off the Record is now available digitally at a discount price! You can pick it up on PSN or Xbox Live Games on Demand.
The game is pure, undistilled fun set in a vast playground of gruesome delights. It also marks the Dead Rising series’ return to original protagonist Frank West, albeit an older, fatter, sadder version of him. Still, his photography gameplay was perfect for a game where you’re constantly doing crazy things.
On top of that, you can play through the game online with a friend, who will take control fo Dead Rising 2 protagonist and generally likeable guy Chuck Greene. Double the fun! We highly recommend picking this up and threshing some zombies with a loved one.

Hulking Pre-Order Incentives for Steel Battalion Heavy Armor
Apr 24th
Steel Battalion Heavy Armor today shows what it has in store for those who pre-order the game before its launch on June 19 in North America and June 22 across European territories. With a choice of three different pre-order packs, players will receive additional armory to customise their VTs (Vertical Tanks), boosting their defensive power, offensive force, speed in combat and much more.
Using a unique combination of Microsoft’s Kinect and regular X360 controls, players will experience war like never before without losing the precision demanded of a first person shooter.
Set in 2082, Steel Battalion Heavy Armor depicts a world devoid of computers, where war is waged with rudimentary weapons as new superpowers struggle for dominance. In this low-tech era there is one weapon class that will determine the course of the war – the Vertical Tank. Players take on the role of VT pilot Sgt. Powers as the battle to regain the United States from Chinese occupation begins. More videos after the jump! More >

Even Max is geeting in on the Dragon's Dogma hype!
Apr 23rd
So aside from the huge number of previews being posted by all the gaming websites, and more, our buddy Max has put together a video of his thoughts on Dragon’s Dogma. It covers how it wasn’t really on his radar for a while but as the new videos and previews started coming out his hype meter has been building, seems to be a similar story more many other people. But listen to his arguements and watch the footage, and then wish for tomorrow to come sooner because that’s when you’ll get a good taste of what Dragon’s Dogma plays like when the demo hits!
