Feb 29th

Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 are now available on the Euro PSN! Both these classic Capcom games and fantastic Resident Evil sequels are the NTSC (US) versions and are priced at €9.99/£7.99 each. Unfortunately due to age rating issues RE2 will not be available in Germany.
In addition any PSN+ subscribers will be able to download both RE2 and RE3 for free from today until the 6th March. In Germany, where we can’t offer RE2, they will be offered Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD Remix instead (Resident Evil 3 will still be available).

More combos from the desk of Desk
Feb 28th
Aside from possessing incredible skills, technique, timing and being like some sort of arcade stick god Desk is also pretty busy. After yesterday’s initial Street Fighter x Tekken combo vid he’s posted two more and they could blow you way almost literally. Just check these out and watch for the extended combos using both characters in a team (rather than yesterday’s vid when only one character was used) especially the Marduk and Ryu one in the top video – now that is amazing! And if you want an indepth description of how each combo breaks down then check out Desk’s blog.

Catch up with Cross Assault
Feb 27th
We’re now into day six of Cross Assault, well we will be once it gets to about 6:00pm GMT when the next episode kicks off. The whole streams are available to watch on twitchtv but that does mean wading through them to get to the challenges. Thankfully though IGN has launched a new Youtube channel called IPL Fighters and will have all the challenges and elimination matches uploaded there. Here’s the elimination from the first day and you can watch the rest on IPL Fighters. Don’t forget to tune in tonight at around 6:00pm GMT for more form the Street Fighter x Tekken reality series Cross Assault, and for a full round up of the wins and losses so far then head over to Shoryuken.
And so it begins
Feb 27th
Desk has posted his first Street Fighter x Tekken combo vid, and as hoped and feared he finding some unbelievable combos that not only look cool but are incredibly damaging as well. Oh and he’s only using one character at a time and no tagging, which can only mean his next video will have characters almost dying from one continuous string of beatings. For more info on the video and the moves used check out Desk’s blog where it’s all finely detailed.
