Street Fighter 2: Sonderausstellung im Computerspielemuseum plus Gewinnspiel
Nov 10th

Ultimate MvC3 Casting Call – Vergil
Nov 10th

Note: The following contains some plot spoilers for Devil May Cries 1 and 3. I’m calling statute of limitations on this, but consider yourself warned.
It’s a funny thing about brothers. Some are best buds from the start, while others will quarrel in their youth, but grow closer as they gain wisdom and maturity. Others, still, are polar opposites who can’t stand to be in the same room as one another without fighting to the death. I dunno, maybe it’s a twin thing.
Such is the case for Vergil and Dante, the twin sons of Legendary Dark Knight Sparda and not particularly legendary human being Eva. Silent and subdued, Vergil is, in many ways, the Gallant to Dante’s Goofus. And, like Gallant, he sides with the forces of evil.
He slicks his hair back to distinguish himself from his otherwise identical brother, and dons a sleek, blue coat in contrast to Dante’s crimson red–talk about living in denial. Interestingly enough, their two coat colours combine to form purple, once the colour of choice for their father Sparda.
Further suppressing his undying brotherly love, Vergil expresses an aversion to the firearms used so flagrantly by Dante, eschewing them in favour of the Japanese Devil-blade Yamato and scoffing that guns are unworthy of a real man. Easy to say when you’ve got the kind of sword that shoots other swords out of it like enormous, razor-sharp bullets.
Anyway. Vergil acts as the main antagonist of Devil May Cry 3: Dante’s Awakening before eventually coming back to his senses in the coolest way ever. In a final showdown with the game’s true villain, Dante and Vergil team up, and a second player can even jump on the helm and take direct control of Verg. Amazing!
Moreover, in the Special Edition of the same game, you can play through the entire campaign as Vergil, or even unlock “Corrupt” and “Super Corrupt” Vergil, turning you into the heinous Nelo Angelo when you activate the Devil Trigger. Rad!
To clarify, Vergil is indeed the silent and dreadful Nelo Angelo, who is not wholly unlike the love-child of Satan and Darth Vader. Check out his creepy intro scene. He also appears to be somehow tied to Nero, protagonist of DMC4, though this is still a subject of debate.

Vergil is a welcome and highly-anticipated addition to the character roster for UMvC3. We’ll be able to reenact epic battles between him and Dante, or form all DMC teams with Vergil, Dante, and Trish. Or hey, what about a Rigid and Uncomfortable Villains team including Vergil, Wesker, and Doctor Doom? Ohh, I jest.
Seriously though, check out how rad he is.
How to unlock Galactus!
Nov 10th

So you want to play as the devourer of worlds do you? And feel what it’s like to wield more power than a mere god? Galactus is playable in Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3 (out next week!) but there are couple of ways to unlock him:
The first way is to gain more than 30,000 PP by playing LOTS. Or the much easier way is that Galactus will be unlocked automatically if you have the save data from Marvel Vs Capcom 3! And then you’ll be able to squash the human race and eat all of Earth, though he’ll probably be banned from tournaments…
