This article over on Art Eater goes into great depth on the animation in Darkstalkers. It includes lots of gifs but it’s the explanations of each movement that really get you interested, whether you’re an animator yourself or just never really thought about the intricacies of each frame of each character in the game. Brilliant stuff! So we nicked some gifs from it to put here…

So why is She-Hulk red?
Dec 23rd

A lot of work has gone into the alternative ‘costumes’ for every character in Marvel Vs Capcom 3, and in some cases the costumes aren’t just a different skin but they actually refer to a different character. The case in point here being She-Hulk, usually green and called Jennifer Susan Walters, but one of her alternative costumes makes her the Red She-Hulk and long time friend (and more?) of the Hulk and Bruce Banner, Betty Ross. Wiki is your friend for lots of background information on this. But even better is the explanation on her and a good few of the other Marvel characters is the blog post on Marvel’s site. There’s a good bit of reading, and it’s fascinating!

Moto GP 09/10 DLC works!
Dec 20th
The free DLC packs 2 & 3 that we’ve been having problems with are, fortunately, now working correctly. The catch is you’ll have to be downloaded them again from the PS Store, as the auto-patcher is still not grabbing the correct content. But hey – that’s still pretty good news for all the petrol heads out there.
