DEAD RISING 2 LAUNCH EVENT!

CASE ZERO Launches Exclusively on Xbox LIVE

Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the last few months, you’ll know our prologue to Dead Rising 2 – CASE ZERO launches today!
For an incredible 400 MSP, the prologue will give you a first taste for the zombie-slaughtering fun of combo weapons and ‘psycho’ boss fights. Prestige Points, character skills, Combo Cards and alternate outfits will all carry over into the main game too [sweet].
The full version of Dead Rising 2 launches on September the 24th – this gives you plenty of time to chew through our prologue.

Ryota Niitsuma answers Yoshinori Ono's Ferrero Rocher challenge!

Yesterday we witnessed the epic event that was Yoshinori Ono attempting the Ferrero Rocher speed eating challenge. I *think* the absolute highest possible by a human is six in a minute (without performance enhancing drugs) and Ono managed a respectable four, with a bonus 0.1 marks for stuffing the next one in his mouth before time ran out. Today, Ryota Niitsuma responds with this -

And so it’s a draw! Kind of. Check back in as we strong-arm other producers to forsake their dignity for the sake of two minutes of internet comedy or, more likely, set about the chocolate ourselves.
And Capcom staffers! If you work for Capcom US or Capcom Japan and you visit our offices in Europe, we’re going to make you do this. For the community. If you don’t do it, you’re basically saying that you hate the community and all Capcom fans.
I’m just saying!
Dormammu and Viewtiful Joe for Marvel Vs Capcom 3

Hot out of Cologne or Koln to use the German spelling comes the news that Dormammu and Viewtiful Joe are the new additions to the Marvel Vs Capcom 3 roster.
For those of you less aware of the Marvel universe Dormammu was created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko. Debuting in the Silver Age of comic books, Dormammu has appeared in over four decades of Marvel publications, featuring prominently in the Doctor Strange titles and limited series as the recurring nemesis of the mystic hero. More info can be found here http://marvel.com/universe/Dormammu. Basically he’s bad ass.
Viewtiful Joe on the other hand should need no introductions on a Capcom blog having first stared in his own eponymously titled game way back in 2003 and made several appearances in Vs games since.

Dead Rising 2 Release Date Brought Forward \o/

Morning All,
Good news for all you Zombie fans across Europe and Australia – we’re pleased to announce that the title will now launch on Friday September the 24th for X360 and PS3 with the PC version scheduled for September the 28th.
This is one of the few occasions that we’ll beat the Japanese and US to the stores – as there release dates remain fixed on the 28th and 30th.
